Over the moon with this - see him not as a judd but as a top ten midfielder once he finds his feet.

The fact that he can go forward and be dangerous is a bonus - good overhead mark

Absolutely rapt

As for the ninnygooses who wanted to fold the cards and give pick 30 away .....
31.

Very serious.

If having him cheap helped lure his brother its a no brainer, worse case he plays wafl just like any player we would have taken with that pick, best case he becomes a contributor, finds his best form again and his brother comes home.
Nothing like a straight faced comic...Ha

B: Hurn Barrass Sheppard
HB: Yeo McGovern Duggan
C: Jetta Sheed Gaff
HF: Ah Chee Vardy Darling
F: Cripps Kennedy Rioli
R: Naitanui Shuey Redden

I: Cole, Venables, Nelson, Lycett

E: Karpany, Waterman, Hutchings, Mutts/Draftee.

Subject to change with more trading/Draft period.

Far out we look a lot quicker already!

Most at risk of dropping out of the B22:
Lycett/Vardy, Rioli, Jetta

I’d like to see Venables in that midfield with Sheed and Redden rotating through as the inside mid.
If Venables doesn’t get a run through there it’s still a pretty slow on ball unit.

I think Venables can actually play forward though, so happy for him to play more game time there.

Does anyone on this board trust our list manager ?
Actually I don't have a problem with what's proposed..depends on the sweetener a bit I guess. We lost Priddis who most of us have seen as a liability despite his sometimes good work inside as well as Mitchell who was handy but only a 1 year player so we need mids. We got Ah Chee for not much and he has pace and skills so could at least cover Priddis. We also lost Butler who was good but injury prone and seemed to have lost the pace of the game so not a huge loss given his age and contribution this year. Giles was useless so no real loss. Looking at the players around 13 I don't think there is a great deal that you would rate and TBH I would prefer to trade that pick off to get to goes in the 20's as has been proposed. I think we need at least 1 more mid and that could come from any of Starcevich, Hayden, Kelly, Schloithe or Kelly (but would prefer the younger recruits). That then leaves us picks to pick up a reasonable young ruck such as Jones or Redhead as well as a young KPF or KPB such as Taylor or B Miller or maybe both with later picks. We would also have options for a small forward like Ryan if someone like Hill, Wellingham or Lamb moves on. I'd be reasonably happy with that.
Don't forget there was a lot of bitching when we gave up something like pick 5 to C'wood for pick 11 to pick up Sheed. That worked well for us there were only a couple of players in that range who we couldn't have got anyway who have done better that Dom.

Would be quicker with Lycett or Vardy not both. Three rucks is one too many.

Ah Chee comes to wce for more midfield time and already lining up on the HFF .

Ah Chee starts in the guts with Redden and Shuey :fire:

Sheed and to a lesser extent Duggan, Yeo, Venables,(Constable/Clark/Brayshaw) all part of the rotation.

Nicnat, Rioli and fingers crossed Ryan added in and i do believe it now feels like someone has tipped concrete down my pants :)

You know what I have realised today Monocle? Apple are worse to deal with than Telstra. :( :)

Big Ricky say he wants out ;)

Also says no chance of leaving because he's contracted, which is incorrect.

So Nixon's just guessing and/or making it up as he goes. Who'd have thought?

Would you do this deal to help Essendon and WB

WCE Pick 13 for ESS Pick 25 + 30

Plus WB Pick 28 and lose Pick 32

So WCE gain 25,28,30 Lose Pick 13 + Pick 32

Essendon gain Stringer Lose picks 25+28

WB gain Pick 13 and downgrade to Pick 32 ..

Our ability to rotate players through the middle is going to be a lot better now Pridda has hung up the boots. I would imagine Ah Chee will feature heavily in the middle. Being named on a flank won't be the purgatory it has been for the last 5 years.
