Don't mind them falling through. Good we pushed for a favourable deal.
When Brady said in our favour, the didn't understand he meant IN OUR FAVOUR

My hope would be a lose - lose outcome - Bombers miss out on Stringer (drug cheats) and the Dogs keep Stringer who spits the dummy (Dog of a culture despite the media love in)

Trolling aside, how would you feel about taking 25 and 30 to the draft if that eventuates?
I think most Essendon supporters would be fine with going into the draft with the two second round picks, myself included.

Smith, Saad + two second round picks isn't a bad outcome for us.

It also allows for some flexibility if we did want to target other players (provided they were interested in joining us), like Kennedy for example. Alternatively if the Eagles were still interested, we could liaise directly with yourselves.

In summation - Jake would be nice, but I won't lose sleep if we don't get him.

Essendon ****** this trade up when prioritizing Smith over stringer
Sort of. We prioritised the Dogs with pick 11 and they turned down the offer. GWS were simply hungrier to get a deal done so they could get back into first round contention.

Any chance we can get Charlie Cameron?

Seriously overated.

If they wont take him for pick 19 there is no way he is worth anything more than a late second rounder.

Good to see Rawlings thing outside the box even if the deal didnt work out.

Agree that smith, Saad and two second rounders isn't a bad result.

Saying you prioritized pick 11 for the dogs is disengeious though. From my recollection you weren't offering pick 11 straight up, you were wanting picks back as well?
