Jumping at shadows a bit there based on last years trades :

Brad Hill wanted to come home and play with his brother
Cam McCarthy was pursued vigorously by Fremantle because they were desperate to replace Pav
Joel Hamling wanted to come home and Freo were more interested and had mire opportunity for him than we did
Shane Kersten followed his mate Joel

There really isn't that much to it

And if these rumours prove to be correct? Why on earth would Gov Jnr pick Freo when his brother is here?

According to some Marcus Adams was a near certainty to be heading to Fremantle. He's just signed a three year extension

Hogan was going to go to Fremantle

Now supposedly Mitch prefers Fremantle over us. Based on what? Take it with a grain of salt at this stage of the year. Every chance he stays at Adelaide in any case

Their facilities at Cockburn would be helping. Whilst ours apparently haven't got quite the same level of wank factor bells and whistles they'll still be fairly impressive so that's a short term factor

New article saying Saints have pulled out of chasing Fyfe, I reckon if that post about Cripps earlier is true we are in the box seat, no way they can run Fyfe/Cripps/Blakely together.

It probably is bs but Cripps possibly wanting to come home is still better than Matera definitely wanting to come home.(for the record I would like matera to come home)

Look in my opinion, even if I hated a team I would still jump at the chance to play for the other team if my brother was playing for them. It's not just playing but training and hanging with your brother every day is something I couldn't pass up.
