Mitch mcgov to the eagz

Adelaide are not going to let him go cheaply. What would you be prepared to give up in terms of player/pick for Mitch? The usual list of people we want to discard will not cut it and the 2017 draft cohort is being touted as another strong year (but not from WA stocks)

Surely lamb and some steak knives gets it done

We'd come away laughing from that sort of trade.

Lamb still has zero to his name thus far, Mcgovern has shown plenty at the crows in his 23 games (32 goals) and looks a likely player.

Something tells me Partington will be in the mix.

Allen and a second rounder

Yes I'm a shit sponsor.
You do realise that Adelaide were not prepared to allow Jnr Mac to be included in any Gibbs discussions. I heard Carlton had asked for Adelaide's first rounder and Jnr Mac and Crows said do not even suggest Mitch.

In the end it won't mean dick if he's out of contract and tells them he wants to return home.

Still think we'd have to pony up something decent for him.

Yeah it might be our first and maybe a late pick our way. Imo he will stay. He's 23 and had a good first year like Jezza did and could potentially follow suit and have a dominant second year like mitts did in 2015 and for that reason he could go from evening a decent contract to a very good one.

Unless Jack spuds it again or is able to have a very dominant year where he shows us that he is able to play as genuine kpp, then there's no need for Gov jr. Midfield needs work still and and a true kpf is needed and we need to invest in this draft.

Kenendy is 30 this year, there is a huge need for replacement KPF.

True but Gov Jnr , Lamb and Waterman are all 191-192 cms and not a true KF. Allen could fill that spot who is a bit taller.
Lambs actually had a spurt but still doesn't play like one. Allens a tad taller but I think he would make a great second tall.

Mitch might have already told them no chance

Can't remember if Dustin Martin is out of contract this season or next but I was told by a high profile Richmond supporter, a regular where I work, who's mates with Chris Newman (now at Hawks) and he was talking to him the other day and Chris said Dusty is 100% gone at the end of his contract. He was pretty pissed off by it too. I brought up the whole thing about staying on the east coast due to his dad but the supporter told me Dusty would go anywhere if the price was right as apparently he's a total mercenary.

Take from that what you will.

Won't need Dusty when we can get an upgraded version from Port in 2 years time.

Interesting. From the videos I've seen he reminds me a lot of Dusty Martin
