G'day folks. If Gov decides on an eagles future, the only thing we'd want is A grade mids or picks to get them given the premiership window for us seems open and it's our only identifiable weakness.

Honestly, I think Freo will go harder. The cupboard is pretty bare over there. You lot have two high quality forwards already. They've got McCarthy and that's it.

Whether he nominates you, or anyone remains to be seen I guess.

One of those high-quality forwards is nearing retirement age though.

JJ would be nice, but he is a running half back who we actually don't have a need for. And I have seen enough failed "oh he could push into the midfield" attempts to last a life time. Also a premiership norm smith winning player normally does not come cheap. One who is also very happy in Melboune. So would not be a steal at all.

Gov Jnr would be nice also. But again really does not fill a need right now.

A grade mid or nothing.
