Well given that he was apparently an eagles supporter growing up, the only way I can see him nominating them over us is if they've given him a better offer than we have. The only way they're giving him a better deal is if the club is being stingey, because the salary cap is meant to go up by a couple of mill this year, and the fact we're expecting a few retirements and pay cuts the club has no excuse. And if he nominates Freo ( if there is any truth anyway) what then?
Would love to say yes, but I can't see it happening. Is Kelly from gws a chance to come over the us if he was on the move?
Just thought he would help our modfield.
He's under 40 and gets the ball,a lotHow will Cripps help our one paced midfield??????
Like you I would like to see us pick a young KPF/Ruck or even straight ruck who can rest forward.
I was keen on Strnadica last year and like how he supported Goddard in the ruck at forward stoppages. His 2016 colts was below my expectations and then I found out he had grown another 3 cm. No sh1t Sherlock - the big guys lose coordination when growing so a lesson for us all on being patient.
I will be at the U18 carnival so will be interested. There are some big guys from Vic and Country that interest me.
Frampton? He will need to do more than just ruck. They really need to be high bodied midfielders in the Dean Cox mould. That was the downside on Goddard (Claremont possible draftee last year). Jeremy is starting to get more impact other than rucking but is still only playing ressies. Back to Jonny - he is getting some better disposal numbers and I will be able to give you a better heads up in 4 weeks.
We may need to go more speculative with a big guy that needs to develop more than he has in 2017. Example - we could have got Darcy Cameron as a rookie in 2015 and Sydney went and snavelled him prior to our Rioli pick in 2016. We took Snadden instead! Need I say more.
A clean cut, mediocre footballer.Whats pick 4 going to get us this year? Some campaigner?
Not what I heard.Yeos preference was Freo too....
I heard his manager approached freo first but they said they already had too many of his type of player so we gave him a better offer. Not what I heard.
Yes a Frockee supporter but I thought he wanted WCE in terms of desired list to be on
Larri and Fivey do a good job already! Is Kelly from gws a chance to come over the us if he was on the move?
Just thought he would help our modfield.
Wouldn't mind Tunbridge staying on the list for at least he has a bit of mongrel in him. May not be the most talented player going around but at least he gives a toss! More than I can say for some of the others. Also it won't be that easy to make so many changes in one year, although possibly 3-4 of those could be retirements. But then you have to find somebody decent to replace them - not an easy task.Show the door:
LeCras
Masten
Redden
Priddis
Mackenzie
Darling
Butler
Hutchings
Tunbridge
Hurn
Gaff has been one of my faves but id trade him now while his value is high.
Trade Darling as well.
Let Masten, and EMac go
Retire: Mitchell, petrie priddis, butler and lecca
Delist: Mcinnis, Redden ( only if he cannot find form) and Hill.
