He's one for the 2018 draft.
Does anyone know if he was part of our 2016 Academy intake? He was eligible.

Perhaps I should have said what we need right now that our window is open with Nic (hopefully) coming back, JK and Gov . Kelly is that man not Cripps. Long term, yeah, would love him as well.We do need Cripps, our entire midfield needs a reboot.once priddis and Mitchell go we dont have anyone who can fill the void.I dont think sheed is that guy.yes we also need outside players too

Le cra to GWS would be more logical. Delideo can't get on the park, Stevie J retires and Le cras provides that mature skillful forward that adds balance.I'd be absolutely over the proverbial moon if Lecras ****** off to Essendon.
Honestly can't see how he'd fit into their team when they have a plethora of decent small/medium attacking options.
Either way, **** off - He says about his sponsored player![]()

I doubt we get a pick for either of themIf we could move on both Le cras and MacKenzie as free agents do we only get one pick or two. Together they may land us a late first round pick, second round at least as long as we don't get a free agent come in.
Good point Hill is from Bunbury I think ..
I posted that he was bottom age and this is precisely my point. We should be all over Hill and we have 18 months to do so. We should have him down over the summer for training and be able to make a great decision on him well and truly prior to the draft. Hell, why not go so far as to teach him how to respond to non WA clubs about his concerns of being away from home and his reluctance to commit to a non-WA club. Now there might be some people who scoff at these tactics. Reality - I don't give a toss. If it means we pick up Hill with a slightly later pick because others are scared off - then we have done the best for the club. He's one for the 2018 draft.

He might be related to Josh as well.Only just read about Ian Hill for the 1st time yesterday, so I really know nothing about him, but won't he eventually want to join his cousins at Freo if he doesn't end up there initially? Seems like he might be a pretty exciting player though.

so he would push out Toby Green? Please what bubble are you in?Le cra to GWS would be more logical. Delideo can't get on the park, Stevie J retires and Le cras provides that mature skillful forward that adds balance.
It all comes down to contract size and age. Nobody knows they will get us especially after the Mayne compo.
Only Gaff and Yoe would get a higher second round - all others on out list would be third or fourth at bestWe are not going to trade our way out of problems
In terms of our academy - Hill was part of the AFL Academy so I would suggest no.
Jason Carter is a member of Fremantles next generation academy and the AFL Academy.
Unless Ian Hill is from the Pilbara he's not eligible for our academy
The only benefit we would have is a reduced points to claim him. From what I saw, he is going to be drafted and reasonably early. Now we have 12 months to help him with his story that will detract eastern states clubs from draftingUnless Ian Hill is from the Pilbara he's not eligible for our academy
