I was going to but it's all moot now that we will be using that pick on KellyAfter you watch Clark ( And PLEASE tell me you are going to make the effort to youtube Hunter Clark AFL ...aren't you now... )

I can't see his value being more than Treloar who was also a gun and the same age .Two first rounders could hypothetically get the job done considering both should be top ten picks. Perhaps we could also flick a later upgrade their way.
The challenge will be convincing Kelly to move west which I think there is probably a 1% chance of.

Of course he is.https://sslcam.news.com.au/cam/authorise?channel=msite&url=http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/teams/richmond/north-melbourne-could-have-up-to-2-million-to-throw-at-dustin-martin/news-story/b378bda3b0b2f64db5fad8b51bbe8cab?nk=5cc51aa32cda4b329fa475163d188cad-1503301834
Kelly to resign with gws I think
We've got so much spare money though as we were one of the only clubs that didn't have contracts with players that automatically went up when the salary cap did a few weeks ago. I'm fine with throwing it around to finally get a decent A-grade midfielder to help Shuey out. Put it this way, I'd much rather give Kelly some extra money than distribute it amongst the corralling pea-hearts that we saw out there for most of this year. The problem is that you still have to have a full list and pay everyone on it. It always looks good to begin with but starts to bite you in the ass a few years later when you can't afford to pay up and coming players or attract other talent. I think it really limits the chances of success. Look at Sydney's success so far with Tippett and franklin. You could argue that Boyd help the dogs win but he's played only a handful of good games for them. Hawthorn have recruited role players over the years to good effect however they never threw too much money to attract a star. Geelong have issues as well I reckon. Sure they are near the top but they are a long shot to win the premiership and they would be maxing the cap too I'd imagine? I would definitely argue that history suggests throwing lots of money to attract one player can be a hinderance. Draft smartly, pick up trade bargains on undervalued players or role players and then develop them well for team coherrance. On top of all this I think it speaks volumes about a bloke who chases money over premierships. We don't need another pay cheque collector
every club would but $ is only part of the value propositionWe've got so much spare money though as we were one of the only clubs that didn't have contracts with players that automatically went up when the salary cap did a few weeks ago. Everyone knows how important Nic Nat is to our midfield, we all know that his ruck work is secondary to his inside mid work. We can't build through the draft because we never drop low enough to get decent draft picks, we are crap at using the rookie list and instead prefer to keep/bring in has-beens or never-will-bes and we don't have enough time to do it with Kennedy and Nic Nat starting to get on.One player is not going to make that much difference. Paying a recruit way more than everyone else is more likely to cause disharmony. Build the club through the draft with the odd recruitment of role players as liam123 said. Team cohesion and camaraderie is the most important step.
And I don't think people understand the importance of Nic is to our team. He is the "inside bull" midfielder that everyone wanks on about. The most dominant close in midfielder in the competition . He just so happens to win the knock as well. Hopefully he can come back as good as he was.
No, every team doesn't, us and Adelaide were the only ones.every club would but $ is only part of the value proposition
Hear what you are saying. Then we need to overhaul our development and drafting teams. Our whole football operations needs to be heavily scrutinised. Need to start at the top. Im sure this is reviewed every year but most likely internally. Need a complete external evaluation done.Everyone knows how important Nic Nat is to our midfield, we all know that his ruck work is secondary to his inside mid work. We certainly do, will be interesting to see what happens this off-season. I like Acres, would be more than happy to have him here, I think he's going to end up being a very good player.Hear what you are saying. Then we need to overhaul our development and drafting teams. As for players, I think Acres would be a good addition. We would need more than just Kelly if we are to take advantage of JK and Nic.
Butler is retiring today apparently
I wouldnt exactly call that a strong connection. I dont even speak to my uncle or cousins. Strong would be parents or siblings. Think there is 0 chance of him coming hereJust some more info on Kelly's WA connection.
One of my uncles best mates happens to be Josh's uncle who still lives down south here in Busselton. Josh also has cousins who live in Perth so he does have a strong family connection still living here.
My old man was also telling me he played under 16's for Busselton towns with Phil. Was saying he was an absolute machine and could run all day.
With all this in mind I think he's a sneaky chance to come west!
Where all this Kelly talk coming from? Would be awesome if true though!
Don't worry, at least you know where he is. Cole has disappeared without a trace
Haggers hasn't said anything about it yet. Must be true...A Tim Gossage tweet that says we are having a dip.
He's probably too busy plotting how to get Sumich a coaching gigHaggers hasn't said anything about it yet. Must be true...

It wasn't him that won those things though. Sure there is more chance than Martin but it's slim. Let's hope WC have something up their sleeve. When you add in the 2 Sandovers & winning a cup at East Perth, representing WA 6 times in interstate footy plus the fact WA is where his dad made a name for himself with the fact he still has family members here who I believe he is in regular contact with I wouldn't call it a weak connection. It's something & the eagles would be stupid not to use this to try and get him here.
If he comes is another question BUT he's more of a chance to snag then say Martin who has zero connection here.
