Did notice this. Also when they ran through the banner he was up the front with Priddis and getting pats on the back from teammates. Really felt like he was playing his last (home) game.

I agree that when I saw that, it felt like his last home game. Seems odd that he didn't get chaired off. Maybe he didn't want to because he's not retiring but instead playing for another team next year?

He also ran up to both Priddis and Mitchell for a hug after the siren. Although that might have just been because they were in the vicinity.

Post reported for personal abuse, consider yourself lucky that today isn't Mod Monday.

I'd fully expected this to be mod Monday, now I'm having trouble getting out of that mode.

Yeah I thought it was Pridda's kid(s). There's been nothing on twitter that I saw showing Lecca's girl. Hmmmmm.

Blokes are kidding themselves if they don't think Rocky would make a huge difference. What's the go with David Swallows contract? I thought it was up this year? No mention of him signing or being targeted

Signed the end of last year, contracted through to the end of 2019.

Pretty sure David Swallow is contracted, Andrew Swallow is OOC but he is also pretty shit.

It is starting to get clearer. We have opened up 4 places on the main list and 1 Cat B rookie and we are yet to go through Mad Monday. 2017 is likely to be one of our biggest clean outs that could see somewhere like 8 to 10 players going.

Known departures:

Main List (4 so far)
  1. Priddis
  2. Mitchell
  3. Butler
  4. Petrie

Rookie List (Cat B action only)
  1. Brophy

In doubt:

Main List
  • Mackenzie – KEEP good back half and worth a new contract but lower $
  • LeCras – KEEP but he may get insulted with the offer and being depth
  • Giles – GO degenerative knee and may just pay/settle out final year
  • Hill – GO seems on the outer and rumoured to have agreed to join Subi
  • Wellingham – KEEP but on the outer and at times is looking cooked so offer ow basic $ and performance pay
  • Lamb – we do not know where/how to play him so he may head home but we won’t get much in a trade value
  • Masten – in contract but is depth and Essendon possibly sniffing

Rookie
  • McInnes – KEEP may be offered again given depth of talls
  • Tunbridge – GO so unlucky with injuries but enough is enough
  • Snadden – KEEP offered enough improvement but I doubt he will be AFL quality
  • Gorter – not sure how long he signed on for and have no idea why we have him so I will refrain from commenting

Given the number of departures, I would look at more mature WAFL/VFL/SANFL players as well as taking our fill of the 18/19 year old draftees. Examples – Bailey Banfield (I was a big advocate last year and even stronger this year), Tim Kelly (edited), Liam Ryan, Scott Jones, etc.

Do you mean Tim Kelly? Id delist McInness too - just isn't going to get any better and should be dominating WAFL. Gorter - gone too. The opportunity to go deep this year into the RD and ND is too good to pass up considering our list age.

Petrie is a rookie.

Agree with most of that except Petrie is only a rookie list spot as others have said. On the flip side we only went in with 39 senior players this year so we do have 4 spots currently available.

Gorter will be on a year-by-year deal, I don't really see any point in keeping him.

Not sure who you've got Tim English confused with, he was a first-round pick last year. Possibly Tim Kelly?

Thanks - Mixed Monday blues. Corrected now
