Tony Notte became a very good KPD, surprised no one gave him another chance. He refused to be moved back for development and thus was delisted.
What do you mean he refused to be moved back paran? Do you mean into defence? Never complained about it at Swans. He refused to move to Perth for development, yes. Actually he initially agreed and then told Suma he wasn't moving.
Carlton were close to giving him a second go. When he was younger he didn't get the attack on the ball thing. Now he does.
Dylan Main was in a similar boat but he is really starting to get it this year. Reckon he'd be worth more on the list than Tunbridge, dor example.

thoughst on billy hartung?

out if contract. At the right price he wouldn't be too bad. if we can muster up a few second rounders, i wouldn't mind getting him. The thought of working under mitchell might entice him.

averging 22 touches this year and has plenty of pace and a huge tank.
I suggested Hartung on this thread a few months ago. I'm keen on him but would look to trade players instead of picks. Mutimer/Masten/Lamb

Monocle AsterixTheGaul Barney44
Is Tarcye Stewart worth a shot.
32 goals is not exactly setting the world on fire but if you take into account his age, he was essentially 10 days away from qualifying for this years draft.
IMO Rookie list at best and TBH I doubt that will happen.

Yesterday was a typical example he did very little most of the day then "bobbed up" with two crucial last quarter goals.
I would suggest he needs another WAFL season and see how that progresses.

Having said the above......... in theory he is the exact sort of kid you should consider for a rookie spot
I agree that his hope is to be rookie listed, i doubt he'll go higher. I disagree Monocle that he did nothing against the garlics. His defensive pressure and tackling was good all day. I think he needs to be given targets, strict instructions. That's what it looks like to me. Evidently Harding asked him for 2 goals at the 3/4 time address and he delivered. He's built a lot more solidly than Ryan, so is more ready to take the physicality of AFL.
Just my 2 bobs worth.

We get a pick after our first next year for Gaff if he left and we chose not to match.

That's likely a pick around 10 in a much better draft.

So anything we would accept would have to be a fair bit better than pick 10 alone (for example).

We would be crazy to let him go unless he really wants out and we get a really good deal.

Have not seen enough of him to be honest. His stats are impressive, who does he play like? This seasons been his break out right
He's a smooth mover like Pendlebury but with better skills IMO

Inside or outside player?
He can do it all mate. He's definitely been more inside this year compared to previous, avergaging around 6.5 tackles a game. But his skills on the outside are as damaging as anyone in the competition.

He is outside, with easily enough insideness (without being a contested ball beast). And so smooth and composed, with amazing disposal.

Best young mid in the comp IMO.

Easily, and right up there for top 5 mid in the whole competition IMO
