There are a lot of AFL teams that could do a hell of a lot worse than taking Schofield or MacKenzie off our hands and shoring up their defence,.

Some of the defensive dross that has been taken instead of these guys beggars belief (Frost to Brisbane; Dunn to Collingwood; as prime examples).

We will need to replace 5 main list spots maybe more if we are thinking about trading Masten or Schofield for picks. There are possible retirements in Wellingham & Lecras too. I would delist all but 2 rookies which means an influx of around 10 players. We can't really afford to axe Lamb who has actally shown a bit. Play him as a third tall in attack. Just needs to get fitter maybe slim down as he won't really be a KPP

He's actually one of the fittest in the team, that's why it's so annoying when it seems like he's not even trying

Watching the game on Saturday it was obvious that we need a crumbing small forward. Bloody wish Willie was fit, so many long kicks into the forward line with LeCras and Cripps barely giving us anything at ground level. Is Matera what we're after though? Not so convinced. But happy to get him on the cheap. Would a straight swap for Masten be fair?

Probably would be. Matera has potential to kick a few goals a game. Definitely room for both to crumb.
