Got a mate at the club who basically has filled me in on a couple things. Apparently we are quite happy with our list progression and hope that a few decent top ups will get us over the line in 2018. Pick 13 is definitely on the table and we could be trading it for two second rounders. This would give us the ability to get fasolo, conca and watts with our three second rounders. Gaff is as good as gone to the hawks apparently for hartung/Strating and a pick/picks in 2018 draft. We are also hoping to get ahchee with our third and fourth rounder.

As far as the rookie list goes we are quite keen on Ben Kennedy (former demon), Jansen (former lion), and josh Cowan from geelong. They are all experienced and fill a need.

Going by his info our best 22 next year could be:

Hurn, eMac, welling ham
Yeo, gov , duggan
Masten redden hartung
Vardy shuey shred
Watts darling B Kennedy
Fasolo JJK cripps

Inter: conca Cowan Jansen barrass

Quite an exciting team I think. The bonus is that we haven't gone too far the other way. Our focus next year will be the players intent and putting in s four quarter effort.

I asked my mate about Tim Kelly and he said the club could rookie him if he's still available but the club are aware that the gap between afl and wafl is big so his game might not translate. Same pretty much goes for liam Ryan

If we do keep pick 13 we are heavily into naughton Balta or Stephenson if they are available. The club rates balta in particular very highly

So yeah some super exciting times coming up for our club
Brilliant - I needed a good laugh to start the day. We are prone to take ourselves too seriously at this time of year.

I actually like a lot of what you post mate, but this is the biggest pile of dogshit and as someone said, "bloody nightmare" It is so bad I am really concerned it may be true.

Hagdorn reckons Conca to Freo :thumbsu:

Relax folks

Though it is Hagdorn...

Fremantle obviously unhappy with the job Grey is doing replacing Suban, so they went all out on another w@nchor to fill the gaps.

That sounds terrible.

You lost me with the club is happy with their list transition.

If the above actually occur I'm buying a plane ticket and a pitch fork and heading straight to the club. And I won't be alone

McInnes to survive Eagles cuts to squad . McInnes poised to re-sign for a seventh season .

But the decade-long careers of second-club veterans Josh Hill and Sharrod Wellingham appear over , while Tom Lamb will return to Victoria if the Eagles can't provide him with a playing guarantee .

West Coast set to turn over at least a quarter of their current group and next years list is likely to include at least 12 players aged under 22 .

John Townsend ... The West

And Masten ????

I was 100% trolling with the Watts for Gaff scenario... Was betting the trade radio picked up on it.

Anyway Gossage said this:

Andrew Gaff's name keeps bobbing up in trade talk. A high profile Demon reckons his club is in queue behind Hawks if Gaff wants to go home.

There is no way we should be trading with Hawks who have no first rounders and they have no players would want either.

Either we deal with Saints or just wait till next year.

Bit harsh on Masten. He has lost confidence. In a good midfield where he can be soft and run, receive and deliver, he will play well. Don't be surprised if a lot of you are saying "why the hell didn't he play this way for us last year"

So this is going to become the trade period version of that pre season training report that kept getting regurgitated and posted as a new one, sucking people in

I know i've scoffed at gumballs suggesting trading players who have already relocated back to WA in the past, but...

Could Sharrod ever go back to Collingwood? Normally i'd say no chance, but the fact it's hit former club who have rated him highly in the past, his career looks pretty much over at West Coast and he might be told if he wants to continue his career we'll help him get there.

Wouldn't be suggesting it for any other interstate clubs, but for Collingwood i don't think it's as outrageous as i once thought.
