At some stage are we going to have too many mids? We actually might have to draft some hbf at some stage.

Noone and i mean literally noone gives a rolled rat turd that you post this On iPhone using BigFooty.com mobile app
Then we will play them out of position in the midfield - call them spuds and trade them to other clubs who will play them in preferred position and they will be good players

Seriously though with the players we already have and that have been nominated as to spending more time in the midfield, we may need to look at some small forwards or backs. What happens if Rioli isn't the messiah and who do we have that can play on small forwards which seem to be all the rage ATM?

Ah Chee learning off shuey nic nat jetta mitchell sheed redden gaff and co will be fine, play him as a mid like he was drafted to be and we will be laughing.

“We played Yeo down there this year and threw Liam Duggan back. We’ve got flexibility with those guys being able to play them through the midfield as well, but we’ve got young Jackson Nelson, Tom Cole, young Francis Watson, who we think might be a chance this year.

Lets hope we do try those players as mids.

Tom Cole not young anymore?

I think so.

Lets say JK miss's through injury next year we can cover him with Darling, Vardy , Nic Nat & Lycett and in a pinch Gov. There is also a chance players like Waterman, Lamb and Allen could even step up and offer some scoring power.

So yes this year we need to go mids mids and more mids.

2018/2019 we need to go hard on another KF, KD & a ruckman.
No Gov forward. The guy probably wins the BnF if he stayed down back. Why create a second problem by moving the best CHB in the league. Trust the process, bring in a forward.

Apparently Nick Suban's being shopped around by Fremantle. We should definitely have a crack I reckon. He's a real shit player and a f**k wit to boot, at least we'll all know who to hang shit on next year.

He and Masten could room together on away days

Any news on Lamb? I figure he’ll attract interest once Watts has a known destination.

We’d be stupid to let him go for a pittance, even if we deserve it.

Mitch Crowden 18 yrs old would be great pickup to play back pocket and can play midfield and is s hard nut that’s played senior footy in SANFL..

This is probably one of the issues with there only being 2 clubs in Perth. You can't move players on very easily because once they pass 25 theyre firmly entrenched, whereas in Melbourne they can move clubs and it not so disruptive for their home lives.

No, it's an issue with the current player movement process.

Players have been given actual free agency and they now have effective free agency (through nominating clubs which almost always results in them getting to said club).

The automatic right of a contracted player to decline a trade weights the system way too far towards the player. The system needs to change and players need to be able to be traded much more freely.
