We have one sole pick in the first 30 draft selections, so i am not sure how exactly we are going to regenerate our list short of snagging an absolute superstar with our first rounder.

Its a limbo position to be in, wanting to rejuvenate our list via drafting, but failing to trade anyone to improve either our draft position or total number of draft selections.

And if we end up having to use pick 31 to draft Ah Chee, then we are left with one "live" draft choice.

Currently we're considering a straight swap for Ellis Yolman from Adelaide.

Lamb is worth much more to another team than he is to us. Our match committee is too conservative and he will continue to be overlooked for games despite senior players under performing, i'd love to see him succeed somewhere else.

The trade probably hasn't been done because Port have been busy with Rockliff, Motlop, Trengove, Impey and now Watts.

Though presumably a club that was less of a "ramble" would barge their way to the front of the queue and yell "Look stop focusing on all those best 22 players for a minute, our fans want this deal for a SANFL midfielder sorted out, chop chop".

Nothing BT does causes that sort of reaction for me, usually it's the opposite.
