Wellers played an important role in our team that went to a GF. He's been good for us compared to what we could have had in the draft. No complaints from me.

He’s on the edge of our list after five years at the club. So you can talk about one particular season but objectively looking over those five seasons as a whole...

Elliot Yeo was withdrawn from the All Australian team by West Coast because of injury he carried through the finals ...not sure he needs surgery or not but needs to keep off the lower leg injury .

Also West Coast want five picks in the top 50 and that is what they want ...fair to say that a third rounder for Ah Chee wont happen if this is correct with Haggers could easily not be 100% correct . Haggers reckons swapping pick 13 for two picks in the twenties from GC .

Sheesh Gold Coast win out of that trade IMO, he's 34 next year. That pick 19 could potentially play for another 10 years.

I have this gut feeling that the trade for Ablett will end up biting Geelong on the ***!! He's broken down so many times with injury whilst at GC so don't know what will change (mainly due to his age). Injuries are a bummer in the twilight of your career, particularly if you are injury prone.

Good to see Watson upgraded to Cat A status, hope we have our eye on 2 more players to add to the Cat B list.
No issues with Bayok being retained as a Cat B rookie. Fmac purely depth in case we are a ruck short. Probably means we're not targeting another ruckman for now. 4 plus Gov is sufficient.

I get you're argument. It's a mentality issue, conservative but also a conservatism that's denying the obvious when it comes to his abilities. If security is an issue draft a developing ruckmen because they can actually ruck. If we need more tall forwards draft a tall forward. What you don't do is keep McInnes in the squad.
