We received 2 x 4th round picks from the Hawks as part of the Impey trade...
1 this year and a future 4th..

A pick downgrade is better than losing an entire pick in itself.

We hoped for a forth, Port hoped for a third and we met in the middle.

Both parties not being totally happy means its likely a fair result.

No matter how deep the draft it's a complete crap shoot by the time you're getting to pick 50+

I'm satisfied with that deal. We keep 3 picks inside the top 50 this year and even get to use 67. Next year I'm sure we can find a way to trade our way into the third round again.

If the draft is deeper next year then having two 4th rounders would be better than having two 4th rounders this year.
