I don't think you really know just how proactive football clubs are. Not everything is in the media. From what we do know, We tried going for motlop, We are involved in a potential deal that could see us gaining a few interesting selections in the draft and we gained a big bodied mid for cheap albeit with unknown potential. In a quiet trade period for all clubs you can't expect us to just land a Superstar out of our arse. That's completely unreasonable.I want tangible progress and I am hoping that some of that happens tomorrow with swaps of picks.
Question. Will you be satisfied if we trade in one fringe player and simply take the draft picks we have to the draft?
Is that proactive enough in your opinion?
To answer your question I would seriously look at what either our 2018 1st or 2nd picks could net us this year in additional picks and pick upgrades. That is something I have posted several times. It seems that is what we are negotiating for and negotiating hard on.
Again I hope we do take a risk and make a call or two that brings in better talent this year.
