I think we expect to lose McGovern if we finish bottom 6.

tbh, I don't think he will leave though - and I don't think there actually should be compo picks, but would still be ropable if that happened.

tbh, I don't think he will leave though - and I don't think there actually should be compo picks, but would still be ropable if that happened.

Bet they scrap them for like 1 season due to Motlop complaints.

Lamb has more value to us on our list in 2018 than any draft pick we'd get for him

Hmm...definitely a much better deal than the "predicted" Ess/WB deal, but still concerned about only have two 2nd round and two 4th round picks next year. Hopefully we haven't traded away a top 10 pick. I'm reasonably confident that we can make the 8 though. Would be great we can somehow get back into the 1st round somehow. I feel like we need to draft some players that can play immediately next year to make this trade worth it.

Gibbs is one of the most underrated mids going round. Crows going all in on the next couple of years.

It doesn't work like that, when you draft a player you are drafting them to play in 2-3 years unless they are a Chris Judd type. When you go to the trade you are trading for a player to play immediately.
