I reckon he'd be worth more than that. His stats don't look bad and unless he has a pretty poor 2017 his value should hold. Kelly has had some pretty poor games as well as excellent ones and is at around 75 games compared to about 45 for Billings. The talk is $9 million for Kelly and two first round picks so a player who is very high potential is going to be attractive and I reckon he's showed enough for someone to think he's worth around what we got him for. Make or break year though, if he doesn't fire after 50 games and 4 years he's probably worth a pick in the 20s and every year after that would drop another 10 to 20 spots.
So you actually think he is still worth pick 3 even though many on here think we may get a contracted Whitfield for around 10? And I agree his stats look ok but unfortunately he doesn't effect the game so much with the stats.

He's at 75 games or so and Billings is still under 50. The relative career points gives Billings a bit more growth. As I said if he gets around 75 and he's still no star his value starts to plummet.
But then Billings doesn't seem to have to goal scoring ability of LeCras.
Was thinking last night that he's very similar to Shaun Higgins, with less injuries.

Oh **** I hope he's not as frustrating as Higgins, my Bulldogs mates were pulling chunks of her out waiting for him to be as good as he should be. I'd still take an injury free Higgins any day, he's actually a gun when he gets on the park.
I remember at the start of last year Billings was playing with the midfield group in preseason training drills and he looked a class above. I'm still very hopeful of what he could become. What ever happens it will be mental not because he doesn't have class or skills.
I went to the Freo v Dees game today. Fyfe was monumental in the last quarter. Probably won about 3/4 of the clearances in the last 10 minutes of the game.
I think his heart is with Fremantle, but jeez, if we could get him somehow...

there's every chance they will finish above us on the ladder and look more likely to play finals... we are near on no chance of getting him or any other absolutely elite mid
So Freo who have been nothing short of an absolute f%#$ng disgrace for the last year and a bit suddenly win 2 games and they are looking more likely than us to play finals? I'll give you we haven't started on fire but jeezus that is a jump.

So although drafted the same year, both Bont & Kelly have played an entire season's worth of games more than Jack Billings & neither have had the injury issues Jack has had either.
The talent is there, I don't doubt it, I just want him to look like he's playing with more desire & hunger for the contest

I'd say Shaun Higgins is pretty spot on. Good get! Injuries included too considering Jack has had 2 of 3 seasons ruined with injuries already & a few niggles last year too
