Losing Roberton would be a big kick in the teeth. He's one player who makes me feel relaxed when he has the footy - you just know it will hit a target.

In saying that, Half Back is one position we are pretty well stacked in. But he's close to the best in the business based on this years form.

I get the sentiment but just because we had Milera, TDL and Saad (that could play as a forward pockets), it didn't mean that Milne was easily replaced.

List spots are getting tight af

Perhaps Ameet is lining up a trade.

You'd think at least one of Riewoldt, Joey, Gilbert, Lonie and Savage will have to be delisted/retired.

They all played strong AFL football on the weekend.

In fairne
Tucker, Duggan, Lever, Atkins - any would look very nice in a Saints jumper. Not to mention Kelly who really should be training already down at Seaford in preparation for 2018.

White hasn't quite come on as quickly as I'd hoped but he would be the best replacement on our list (long term). Its a big step down though based on this years form. The Irish may surprise us too.

Having said that, if its 700k, I'd put that and Dunstan's salary towards Lever. How does the first we get for Robbo, ontraded to Crows with Dunstan for Lever sound?

Bains is just as likely to pull something crazy like that off. With Crows looking at key defenders in this years draft perhaps they know Lever is a good chance to walk.
ss to White he is playing in a position where there is an absolute logjam
Savage,Webster,Dmac Robertan,Rice,Newnes,Montagna,Webster, Gilbert. I've seen him play VFL a few itmes now and he is a gem. He covers the ground effortlessly and is exceptionally athletic with a magnificant leap. He is very team orientted in that he always puts his body on the line, goes back with the flight. He is also a 60-70 metre player. He is perfect replacement for gilbert.

I don't get why Lonie gets mentioned. Maybe a coincidence but our run of good form has coincided with him back in the side. I reckon there is a few in front of him who will be delisted or put in as rookies. He is absolutely safe as far as I can see. I do agree through its vital we talk one of Joey or Roo into retiring. We don't want to lose both at once this year or next unless they both want to retire this year.

Hick, Pierce, Dunstan, Armo all contracted.

Holmes and Dempster have basically already been delisted. It's tight otherwise

If Robbo leaves it would be pretty s*** of him. We were the only club willing to give him a 2nd chance when he wanted to come back to Melbourne...
Disagree has put his body on the line for us every time he has played for us, if he has a chance to set himself and family up for life he should do that.
I would hope our club would offer a fair contract as reward for his hard work and improved form to show we look after our own, also we nearly stuffed his career when we didn't look after his ankle right.

Robbo was always coming home regardless of playing AFL . If anything shows how much he loves his young family a true sign of character. He has a big offer on the table from Hawks , but im still confident the club will get something done for him .

Must retain Robbo. When we are trying to build something special, I think it's important to keep as much of the group together as possible. I don't think it's wrong for Robbo to ask to be paid like a top 5 player at our club when he is performing like one.

I don't think he will expect the full 700 to stay, just sounds like we need to come to the party a bit more. Despite what some are saying, I think he is very important to our side. Anyone know where our current offer is?

The Hawks would still have to organise a trade. If he is in the AA squad they can offer all they want if we don't get what we want for him. They have a bunch of old guys and one or two goodish kids and a bunch of mid tier average players. And some how they don't have a first round pick this year. They have **** all we would want. If he wants to move send the campaigner back to Freo for Weller, Balic and Tucker.

Its great to hear. I have only been to one Sandy game this year so its great that he is continuing to build his game.
