Pretty disappointed with our side this year . Not sure where we sit . What I do know is we are probably 5 years off . Which isn't good . Decent players will have left by then and could be another five from there . Mccartin isn't going to make it I'm afraid either .

I'd rather get mids to stop the ball getting down there . Rather put the fire out than buy hoses to fight it .
What an analogy
I think we need both though to be honest. He's a quality footballer and would improve our side no doubt. If we were to give up a first round pick for we'd still have two at our disposal for midfielders so it doesn't really mean we can only have one or the other.

I guess but this can't be fixed in a year or two . This is a serious question but should Riewoldt and Montagna play on next year . I don't think they should sadly . I also hope monty goes a week earlier so nick can have the limelight to himself . I've already promised my boys if nick pulls the pin this year we are flying over for his last game

Joey needs to go for sure. I'd like Roo to stay on another year though.

What are you talking about? We literally have both just shown you the maths to back it up and you go "nah it's still 50 and btw I failed maths". Seriously there's nothing wrong with arguing just admit it when you're wrong lmao.
So explain the tails tails option or the heads heads option. Sorry you are 100% wrong on this. That means you are incorrect. You are either a good or not a good player. If you have one pick or 7 it doesn't change if we are using the top 20 picks. Happy for you to explain it but please don't use heads or tails because that's clearly a very bad example. Sorry to embarrass you after such an embarrassing game of footy

Hang on are you serious? The tails tails is the case where you get 2 bad players and heads heads when you get 2 good. As someone said earlier. Let's take the 2013 draft (the most recent draft we can use where all the playets have had a fair go). Every player except Scharenberg and Freeman has shown they're capable of being a good player. And most of them are outright good players now (Boyd, Kelly, Billings, Bont, Kolodjashnij). The point being with how scientific drafting is now days there is if anything a greater than 50% chance to get a good player with a top 10 pick. If you don't understand the maths then go back to high school and learn it.

Some of ya'll need to chill tf out. You got pumped by Adelaide in Adelaide. Not surprising for any team really.

Your list is strong. There's a lot of improvement there imo. You'll beat us comfortably next week and feel a lot better about yourselves.
Not sure why you're getting hate tbh. Positive comment, thanks for brightening the mood a little :)

Ok so I was right on the maths. Anyway now let's talk about this 50% rubbish. At best it's one in five chance of getting a star. Kelly is 100%. Get him at nearly cost if possible otherwise we most likely we will end up with 2 gops

That's fine for that example but unlike heads or tails you can't have a good and bad player as one option. You are either good or bad. It's 50% chance whether you have 2 picks or 7 picks if we are working on a top 20 in the draft

This post makes literally no sense. Go back and read the context of the previous posts, if you are still confused you need to do a bit of a refresher on grade 5 probability before you call other people out on their maths skills.

Lol, your posting history is starting to make a bit more sense to me.

So explain it again considering there is no head head or tail tail option. You are either a star or not a star. 50%. Fact. I would clueless but I will leave it to people who know maths to decide Good luck proving me wrong Alicia silverstone

In footy in this example you are a star or not 50% apparently even though I'm working on 20% so one in five chance. Good luck alicia
