I reiterate....IF he chooses to come home and IF he is still in contract then yes, he needs to do the best deal for the club he is walking out on. And if he is citing "homesickness" as a reason then it shouldn't be about the money.
I find it unfathomable that in a so-called professional sport contracts are not worth the paper they are written on.
Gary Ablett for instance, not only signed a new contract, but forced the GCS to make it longer than he was originally offered. Now, after getting the benefit of a heavily front loaded contract, ( I get that's a risk clubs take) he's leaving. I'd be ropeable.
