One thing from Scott's interview this morning on SEN this morning that grab my attention is that he stated that clubs usually keep players 1 year longer than they should as opposed to getting rid of them 1 year too soon.
This to me explains mullet! And it won't surprise me to also see other shocks and trades off our list.
I believe we are in an aggressive reset of our list. I don't think for one minute we will look to top up whislt we are in a rebuild. I feel that the club will head down a youth policy. Hence why we are not in to Motlop or Rocky.
Perhaps another year of blooding youth is not a bad plan! Won't yield many wins. But builds a strong platform for the future.
I think North will again be creative with its recruiting during FA. As we will not likely land a huge Gun. Raid the doggies! Raid GC youth. Position ourselves with lots of draft picks next year. Push top 8 in 2019!
GF 2020!!
Glad to read we're getting a bit more ruthless with our list. Mullet will find a home elsewhere I imagine, it is pretty slim pickings for buyers and a quick, decent kick that can roost it from 55 metres out will attract some interest. Some of you guys seem to have forgotten how poor his defensive work was though. Picking up some 2018 draft currency would be more than welcomed.
