If we could get Stringer & Schache for our 2 first rounders + Miles/Lennon/Lloyd/Batchelor

I would do it, Increases the talent on the list and fire power both in the foward line and midfield
Brisbane could use Miles and Doggies could use Lennon

Just got a text advising tippet to tigers a done deal.

Different source to my Dusty contact, but this person is extremely high up in the media empire with contacts at the swans

Bit of a watch this space !
Must mean dusty is going swans. Delicious

Delist Morris, Elton, Hunt, Maric, Yarran and Elton, gives Richmond three spots in the draft to use on the two first rounders and Naish, and gives Richmond three rookie spots. Maybe Richmond can squeeze out someone like Drummond but I don't see Drummond as being more valuable than some late national draft pick.

I'd keep Batchelor, handy cover down back. Lennon can play, just hasn't had a consistent go. Guys like Townsend and Miles are handy, and if they're willing to stick around, I reckon Richmond should keep them.
The stench of the yarran debacle will be gone soon. Maric retires. Delist MORRIS, HUNT, BATCHELOR, ELTON, TRADE MILES AND LLOYD WHILE THEY STILL HAVE CURRENCY. Re-sign Lennon on red`uced contract, rookie Drummond. Promote all rookies bar chol and Moore (neither have earnt promotion). Since draft sucks get whatever kpf we can to tied us over next year then after 2018 offload Griffiths conca and hampson and land lynch from the gold coast.
Sorry. Didn't know where to put this but i'm playing in a trade game and not sure who to delist(if i even want to).
I've traded to give Richmond the best shot at a premiership.
I Have(who i'm contemplating delisting):
Hunt
Morris
Batchelor

Would keeping them all for depth be better than using Pick 82 and delisting one of them?
Should I delist one of them. Use pick 82 and rookie that player I delisted?

Some help would be much appreciated?

Hunt and Morris are both cooked. Hunt is fumbly and nervous with the football and slows up the side. Morris is a small back flanker who is not skilled enough for the position amd can't play anywhere else, was tried as a small forward but failed. Play eeny meeny meiny mo and cut the one you pick, no re-rookie.

Should I just cut both of them?

It's important to keep our FWD line versatile, mobile and high pressure. Stringer ticks the box in those areas but has major question marks on attitude, consistency and obviously cost to get him. He can also go through the middle in bursts which would suit us nicely.

Tippett would be a strange acquisition now, but I'd have him on the list if the Swans were covering a fair chunk of his salary. We still need big man depth regardless of our success with the small FWD line.

I think we should go after another midfielder who can rotate with Dusty and Caddy, but not Rockliff. Who else is there in that mould?

Wouldn't mind Andrew Gaff or Lachie Whitfield on the wing also.

I feel like I'm at a buffet with all these options #destinationclub

I've thought about Tippett, can only assume it means Hampson is done as well as Maric and Elton probably gone too.

If he comes cheap and maybe we can spread his salary that Sydney don't pay over 2-3 season, I can see it working.

For example, say he is on 600k next year at Sydney, they pay him 300k and we pay him 200-250k next year and year after he makes an extra 200k in the twilight of his career.

If we have the salary cap space we could get all three, Tippett isn't going to take a first round pick to get to the club

I wouldn't be against getting Tippett as long as he costs us nothing of value in the draft and Sydney pay half his salary. $450k a year for a ruck/forward isn't too bad, that's what Vickery is getting paid at the Hawks.

Been hearing alot about Josh Schache being in play recently even though he re signed with Brisbane , With our interest few months ago and the rumours still around have to believe that we are still interested - I like the kid and he adds a different dimension to our team
Im pretty confident his talent will re emerge once he is in a better environment - Happy for 1 of our 1st rounders for Schache

Jake Stringer, I initially said NO .................... BUT
Starting to think yes now, If we can re program him and play him midfield, He has the talent level to be another Dusty type player and lets be honest
He is Certainly an upgrade on Townsend. #14/#15 and $500k i would be interested
Stringer a dusty like player FFS keep of the weed before you post it's doing your head in

If Geelong lose next week, I think their pick is #14. If we also lose our next game, our pick is #15. If we win, it's #17 or (omg) #18. We have no 2nd rounder, but we have our own and GWS 3rd rounders, which are #50 and #51. I don't think we draft any deeper than that.

I don't think we want to delist too many this off-season. Yarran and Maric retirements open up two spots, but we'll be wanting to promote at least one rookie (Castagna). Stengle, Chol, Moore and Soldo should all be re-rookied. Delistings, I really think only Hunt and Elton are certainties and Morris a possibility (wouldn't be surprised to see him get a cheap extension). That gives us only 3 open senior list spots.

I think we trade Miles, Lennon and perhaps Lloyd for draft picks which we can then use to match any Naish bid. If those three are traded, that's six senior list spots: Naish, two first rounders, two third rounders and a free agent.

Exciting times, Tigers.

GWS lose their first rounder from the Whitfield suspension, so the flag winner would get #17 loser #16 and so on.

Tippett is intriguing. As long as his wages aren't too high for us he's a solid backup Ruck option that can play forward.

On Stringer the more I was listening to the guys on SEN it seems his personal issues are fairly major with the ex-partner, seems to really be affecting him. I'll leave our trusty recruiting staff to deal with that one.
