Don't even hate it. Tippett has reached that "so overrated he's underrated" stage. At the right price (**** all), he's actually exactly what we're crying out for. Just doesn't fit into Sydney's structure whatsoever.
Sure he would be ok. His age are injuries tho mean how many games will we get of that reasonable 2nd forward.

We need to recruit for sustained success not fleeting success.

I believe we have a realistic window next year and Tippett could help us immensely when he's fit. If/when he's injured we have Griffiths to back him up. There is no fix for our CHF spot that would get us a Flag now as well as take us forward for sustained success.

Get Tippett for 1-2 yrs, draft a KPP and when Tippett/Griff are done, the kid will hopefully be ready to go, or by then, we could have lured a wantaway.

Ben (Deep Breath Big Mouth) Brown.... really? Top 5 hated players in the league. Pass
Exactly what we need at Richmond. The more hate the better. Can't recall reading much about how people loved our club during the 70s/80s!

Tippett FFS! He has no heart; is old; injured; won't put his head over the ball and is hot and cold... although mainly cold...we should have just kept Vickery if we want to go down this path of setting up our forward line with tall spuds
Although I wasn't a fan, would have been interesting to see how Vickery would have gone this year with better supply and, more to the point, a greater emphasis on tackling and general pressure standards, given he did kick a lazy - and I mean lazy - 27 goals in 17 matches last season.
Could have gone one of two ways - he responded, or floundered. It's clear the standrads didn't apply to to Vickery in 2016 (or anyone much else) when mediocrity and no pressure were gifted games.

Did he ever lay a tackle?
I thought he would be very good forward when we drafted him, such a shame.

Need to sort out our forward line. It needs more firepower. Another tall plus a goal kicking half forward flanker would be ideal.

The other alternative would be to bring in Hopper which would allow more midfield rotations.

Commentators tonight saying Ben Ainsworth is a huge Richmond supporter. Would be worth a look in a couple of years.
I used to work with his mum and can tell you, they are a massive Richmond family.

Don't see Casboult at Carlton next season. The reason is the Blooze will want a second round compo pick for him.
I'm of the opinion that they NEED to keep him. He's their leading goal scorer, but more importantly, he enables their young KPPs to develop. I'm also of the opinion he'll be at Collingwood next year.
