This episode isnt scheduled to be recorded for a while yet. Somewhere closer to trade time,, we want Tiger71 to have as much info as possible :p

Maybe we can do a earlier episode then check back in with him later on to see what the updstes are!

But as a side note, this week's episode was recorded last night, so you should see that in the coming days.
Definitely an earlier episode!

Given he costs us nothing at the draft table, this might work. Lynch or Sam Reid would have been better (and much more expensive), but I don't see it happening. We need to try and win a premiership ASAP - nobody ever gets to build the perfect team.

My query on him is his work ethic. If we can get him and Jack to push each other to their limits, it could work very well for us. He's 2 inches taller than Jack and 10kg heavier. That forces our opponents to play a big heavy defender on him. I like it when we dictate terms to our opponents.

I think our recruiters might have targeted him because we can get him for "below market" money (call it $500k p.a.) and nothing at the draft table. We offer him an almost guaranteed position, a clearly defined role and a chance to win a premiership. He doesn't have to leave Victoria and he gets to play in front of huge crowds. We are a destination club. It's a fresh start.

Alternatively, take more money and go to #Go North! or the Gold Coast. Within the AFL, he will become known as "Levi who?". His choice.

Cheers.

I don't think there's anything wrong with his work ethic. It's just that he can't kick for shit. I see us getting him given he costs next to nothing and retaining our picks to get some talls in the draft.

Better than what we've got given Elton isn't up to it and Griff is always injured. But it's not a massive upgrade IMO

Would it be worth while trading our 2018 first round for one of St. Kilda's first round picks? Or another team potentially around that level.
Possibly take all 3 to the draft, or trade 2 for established players in the 20-24 age bracket, and still have 1 pick for the draft.
Hawthorn and Geelong traded for the NOW around their group of established stars. Will we be doing the same this year as we did last year with our 3 additions. I just can't see the trade targets for us.

Casboult... I suggested him earlier in the year but now I'm feeling buyers regret. Adding a wayward forward to the most wayward forward line could be interesting. Imagining watching Castagna, Casboult, Caddy and co firing them up into bay 13.

I hope a. he comes cheaply and b. we play him at CHF where his big hands down the line will be plenty helpful.
