Tippett is going at Todd Elton type levels at the moment.. that's actually statistically correct.

But he's underrated...Tippett is going at Todd Elton type levels at the moment.. that's actually statistically correct.

Don't think anyone will give that for him tbh. He's 30 now and he's never been durable.Apparently just waiting till the new salaries come through to resign him. Tippett is likely to be moved on anyway and anything like a late round 2-3 would be more than reasonable
The only way a club takes Tippett is the Swans still paying him a chunk of his current contract to play somewhere else.

How long is he contracted for?I'd be happy with that scenario actually

Just had a look and you're right. Triggered an extension last year, yeah I just can't see anyone giving too much up for him maybe a couple years ago but not anymore.I could be wrong here but I think it's till the end of 2018

Yeah just gotta get him off the books. A token pick for a salary dump might do it.I'd honestly be happy with a late pick not fussed how much we get for him actually. Other fans of the club might disagree but if we can get some club to give a late 3rd I'd be happy. Could then bundle two 3rds for a 2nd rounder.

I think you need to re-read the trade suggestion; it was Mitch not Jeremy.McGovern would take a absolute monster deal and WCE would be beyond drunk if they consider trading him!
Not sure Gold Coast want or need him thoughThis tippet talk makes me sooo happy. Hope his career continues to plummet and he finally makes it back home like he said he always wanted
Overpaid does not mean overrated. Tippett is so scrutinised he's become underrated. He's a very, very good player to have in your team.
Unders.Nathan Fyfe for 2 1sts & Blake Acres

Unders for Savage. His name alone is worth 2 first rounders.Fyfe, Tucker, Balic for pick 10, next years first and Shane savage
Carlton could well take that dump.Yeah just gotta get him off the books. A token pick for a salary dump might do it.
He might be. He was in great firm as a ruck forward early last year IMO. He never seemed to get that form back after his injyry at Spotless. I dont wish it on him but I wonder if he's physically limited.Carlton could well take that dump.
GWS style deal of Z. Jones and Tippett in a package deal, would mean Sydney are not losing Jones to a contender, frees up Sydney cap space and also gets Jones home (but not to the Dees).
Just not sure that Tippett is an upgrade on Casboult![]()
Second round for Matera, Third round pick for McKenzie and Nicholls. Pass on ShawWith hopefully a clean out coming at the end of the year for us i would be hoping to unload a few players, intrested at what others rate there value at
Trent Mckenize
Matt Shaw
Brandon Matera
Tom Nicholls
Id take that, would hope to maybe push into a low second rounder for McKenzie if possible but a 3rd is about rightSecond round for Matera, Third round pick for McKenzie and Nicholls. Pass on Shaw
Collingwood get: Harley Balic
Fremantle get: Tom Langdon
