I have heard that Adelaide have mentioned to the western Bulldogs people when inquiries through management about Jake Lever that it if he decided to go to the Dogs it will push for Caleb Daniel.

Would need alot more than that to get done.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

That's funny!

GWS need forward pressure and players with commercial appeal to attract fans. Hawthorn need early draft picks.

If the Giants lose Kelly and get some first round picks in, they should send a top 10 pick to Hawthorn for Cyril.

It's Bruest we have always wanted and probably still do.
:D Cyril would be ok too. Stevie J doesn't have another year in him.

Question for you and/or North supporters. I get it's the last thing you'd want to do, but what value would you put on Pruess at the trade table?

You're right, last thing we'd do so would have to be a godfather offer. Kelly straight swap or GTFO.

Contracted, plucked him from nowhere, developed him, huge potential, loved by the playing group, loved by the fans, draws publicity to the club...

It was to settle an argument a little. I thought pick one might be rejected by your club.
We feel a little that way about Kelly, I watch him develop fromm a margin best 22 outside plauer into what he is. But what will be will be, I cant resent him going and suspect he will.
Tks for the response.

He's just too unique a player to give up. Sure we could go get another young ruckman and develop them, but they won't be 206cm and weigh 114kg. He's completely immovable in ruck contests around the ground and his tap work is fantastic for someone who has only been playing seriously for a few years. Could be a very exclusive advantage we hold over other teams for the next decade.

Plus he can do this:

I get it, I watched him play in our game in Hobart. Impressive doesn't cover it.

Surely Goldstein moves this year, what would u be hoping to get for him?

Value falling by the week and I don't think there will be many suitors. Most of the premiership contending teams have decent ruck options or don't value them much like the Dogs. Early second at best at 29 years old.

Doggies could use him

Dont think we do to be honest. Our so called ruck woes are well overblown. Roughead injured basically all season thus far, Campbell underdonne and obviously English who needs more time (but is very highly rated). Throw in Boyd and we have enough capable for years to come. Instead we probably need a cheap as chips backup who can play 3 - 5 games in case all our rucks go down - which is what happened this year.

But our top line ruck stocks look very good, no need to get Goldstein when he would probably stunt tthe development of someone like English anyway.

To me Roughead has always looked better as a key back and assuming morris and boyd go after this year thats where i would play him if i were you guys. Campbell is somewhere between average and awful, english is too physically slight to play frontline ruck for a couple of years and i doubt you planned on paying boyd 1mil a year to play in the ruck. Goldstein would be very useful for you assuming north were reasonable about the trade price.

It's not a very popular view on our board but I dont dismiss the idea of him ending up with us. Mummy is an institution and it gets a bit emotional. I worry that Grundy whooped him early and his body isn't what it was. He's still an important midfielder and we have Rory to take on the springier rucks though.
I do worry if we face the Demons with Gawn, Port with Ryder or WC with Nic Nat in a final this year.
Someone like the Bulldogs he's ideal, he'll dominate the taps and add value to our midfield.

Daniel would struggle to get a game with the crows. Your first and daniel as the steak knives would be a good starting point.
Really, one of the top sides that has its weakness as its midfield and Caleb Daniel would struggle to get a game? Wow I think not.
