So has Parish been injured (or coming back) or dropped?? Find the latter fairly surprising if true.

Lol why would we give up pick 1 for a player not getting games David Nobel isn't Peter Schwab
Injured. Came back through the VFL last week and will be back in the league side this weekSo has Parish been injured (or coming back) or dropped?? Find the latter fairly surprising if true.
Parish is injured i believe(?)
He is a Pick 3 with a very good 1st year behind him and an injury interrupted 2nd year.
I reckon Brisbane would be highly keen on Parish for your Pick 1 considering there is no standout No1 kid atm. And i'd reckon you'd jump at a 3rd year quality Pick 3 ready to go man.
Just a thought , what with Parish still in limbo.

No way only one would work for Parish.I agree but pick 1 is too high IMO. If we could swap 1 for say 5 and 10 we could trade 5 for Parish. There are some super talented kids in the mix for 1. The one upside is Parish is a known and not a flight risk being traded in.
Pick 1 + what equals Parish and Francis.
Have heard some noise around this too... We have the currency and his best mate lol but I doubt that's enough to tempt him from playing in Victoria and with all the unfair added benefits that comes with that. What's the go with Parish?
For some reason i've thought for months that he will go to the Lions and you'll replace him with Hopper or JJ or both or even something else.
It's sort of a combination of reasons. Him being keen on Brisbane and Matho and all their VC kids.
And from EFC pov, you've got 1 too many small mids i reckon. And them probably prepared to over pay you for him.
Could be win-win.
We have built up the perfect brigade of those smaller inside-outside mid types in Parish, McGrath, Merrett and Zaka. We need the bigger bodies to help them on the inside, not to replace them. Given our likely retirements at the end of the year and draft range, we could easily accomodate for Hopper if he chooses to move here without giving up one of our young stars. What's the go with Parish?

Not when the PSD option looms in any breakdown in trade talks. There is zero chance lions would give up pick 1 for Parish.
What if Parish indicated he wouldn't mind going, and what if Brisbane indicated that their first Pick was available for him?
As an avowed "non EFC fan" i hope it doesn't come to pass, because i think it would be a win for Essendon....while also suiting Brisbane, although they would technically be paying a bit of overs. Which you have to do to attract interstate talent, especially when you're on the bottom.
Parish for pick 1 surely notI reckon Lions would trade their Pick 1 for him in their position. I don't think he is worth that. But i don't think that would be a bad trade for Brisbane, and a good trade for EFC.
Win - Win. I would have thought.
Unless he's not keen on going that is. I've just always had the feeling it would suit him though.
Good chance to come back into the side this week, had a calf injury he had to overcome and get through the VFL with.So what is the go with Parish? I understand he's OOC at end of year?
Are the rumours he could leave strong?
Zero chance Darcy leaves Essendon after this year, 100% in our future plans and has given no indication to leaving whatsover. End of discussion
True and 200cm kpf's are not exactly in great supply at north.I do not see how Carlton are helping facilitate the trade there.
This trade: North 2017 & 2018 first round picks for Kelly, works out better for both North & GWS than your suggestion. No reason to want Carlton involved.
