Don't think clubs will be willing to give up their talented kids as soon as they start playing well.

Its like Rory Lobb and 2 meter peter last year. They play a couple good games and everyone wants them. Schache and McCartin are the ones that might be available but will cost a fortune and they are yet to prove themselves at AFL level. Buyer beware!

A top 5 pick and a pick in the 8-12 range is probably the highest price for anyone in the past 5 years. Treloar/Dangerfield/Ablett/Beams/O'meara all cheaper

Tom Lynch would be the most expensive player in the competition in regards to trade value. Won't even become an option to steal until he is a restricted free agent.

You'd need a lot more. Sidebottom would be the last on GC's needs too. They'd rather just take your two firsts and be done with it if Lynch wants to leave. That is a lot more valuable than taking Sidebottom.
