Adelaide's chances of getting Jeremy McGovern from West Coast this year before he becomes a RFA next year? What gets it done?

Whatever you get for Lever + Sloane ;)

But in all seriousness Jeremy has his plumbing business setup in Perth now, highly unlikely he leaves it to move interstate.

Melbourne want our pick 6, will be a bit like the Hawks wanting pick 10 to ream the Suns.
Pick 6 plus 36 for 10 and 27 is about equal on points but Melbs will have to throw in more.
Pick 6, 36 and 54 for 10. 27 and 45.

Dan Houston plus pick 29 and pick 49 for Jack Watts and pick 45?

Pick 49 to Freo for Harley Balic?

pick 29 + pick 27+ pick 64 for pick 16 and 88 from the Tigers

Pick 10 plus pick 16 for Lever + pick 35

In: Dan Houston, Harley Balic, Jake Lever, pick 35, pick 88

Out: Jack Watts, pick 45, pick 10, pick 27, pick 64

How likely/unlikely are all of these trades? Richmond one probably a stretch but they might want points to match father son bids for Naish and technically those three picks are an upgrade points wise for the Tigers on their first rounder.

Dee's would take Adelaide's second to the draft, likely for Bayley Fritsch, and use two fifth rounder to upgrade Smith and Maynard, perhaps using a sixth rounder to upgrade Kielty if we want.

I know Houston probably isnt rated overly highly externally. But i would say that we would prefer to keeep him then bring watts in.

Balic value is right and probably the best we'll get for him

heck me

Port would not trade out a 19yr old backman that has shown as much as Houston has , much less so needlessly as that trade. Why would port trade a young first 22 player and pick 29 for watts? Crazy. In answer to your question that trade is miles off.

Dont think Richmond would do that deal to be honest , If the Naish bid comes before #15 then we would have to use #15 and would have traded 16/17 for later picks where we would miss out on say a Noah Balta,Sam Hayes or Oscar Allen

But with #15 + #16/#17 we could potentially grab 2 1st round players and select Naish with our 2x 3rd rounders

Port get screwed lol.....29 for Watts and 45 more like it!

why would tigers accept 2 late 2nd rounders?? smh

None of the players you have mentioned will be apart of our next window, they're around to lead in the rebuilding phase. We don't want Stratton, go find someone who is competing next year to flog your old injured players to
I love Strats and think "old injured players" is undeserved but agree that, if traded, it would be to a side that is competing pronto.

2018 1st + 2017 3rd
for Smith and Kennedy.
So, giving up pick 6 or so next year with pick 38?

Youd give up a pick that early in an extraordinary draft, just to keep a 29 year old Gibbs?

I know your drafting has always been terrible, Peanut, but surely you'd back yourselves in?

Definitely an ordinary deal for your team. Realistically, that first rounder could still be as high as 4 or 5

Dislike.
2018 2nd for Kennedy
Smith I'm not convinced on his knee, if the club tick it off than picks are going to need to be found
2018 1st would be off the table unless it was for high end talent and I wouldn't imagine Smith falls in that catagory

Pies 6 and 54 (1970 points) for Lions pick 17 (from Adel for Cameron) and 18 (2010 points).

Pies would want to chase a key position (Balta Naughton Clavarino Petty) but get the grandson of Ron Richards as well.

Lions get a top 6 player and some points for Academy.

Would Richmond trade Pick 16 & 71 to Gold Coast for Picks 24 & 34?
Doesn't benefit Richmond at all I don't think. They'd be looking to upgrade if anything so they won't have to drop an early pick on Patrick Naish. If Naish were to be bid on between 16 and 24 (quite possible), they'd look pretty silly.

To the Carlton supporters out there as it looks like Smith and Kennedy will both nominate you guys for a trade, I imagine that you would not want to part with your pick 3 or 2018 first round pick for both. Would you guys look at doing the following trade:

Blues: pick 3 + 2018 2nd round pick to Saints for pick 7 & 8

I imagine that you would be more comfortable to part with pick 8 in a deal for both and you could potentially pick up a quality slider at 7.

Your correct both Kennedy & Smith will nominate CFC as preferred destination. They're uncontracted so would be cheaper than picks 7 or 8.
I'd trade pick 3 for picks 7&8 straight swap.
