Yeah except now I've seen about 30 posts from Brisbane supporters all asking about trading in hopper which is entirely unrealistic to think he would leave gws for Brisbane. Sure all clubs should make enquiries after good players to find out but it's silly to think your gonna attract star young players away from competitive teams and away from their home states until you make yourself competitive, which you have a chance to do with drafting first.

Most likely.

However, Richmond might decide he is not buying in to their process and that they are better off picking up another 1st round pick and spending $1 million plus elsewhere.

Dusty has them over a barrel, but I also think there is a point where the tigers would be prepared to walk away.

The determining factor is whether Richmond believes that after re-contracting Martin, they have enough room to improve the list to the extent that they become a flag contender. They may just decide to let him go.

How about Rockliff to Crows pick 2 compo to Brisbane. Adelaide then trade Jenkins to you for pick 19. Pick 19 onto Blues for Gibbs.

Jenkins wouldn't be happy as you did offer 200k a season more to him. But if Schache leaves which is likely Jenkins would be good replacement.

If Kelly goes to north, richmond may just get the compo.
