Just finished a discussion with a mate who is very close to Nat Fyfe. He said Nat was unsure if he would be at Freo next year or not but will 100% not be going to the Saints. He said their had been discussions about the potential blow-back from going there after denying it and going after the radio host who broke the story. He said when he can essentially go anywhere he would prefer not deal with that stuff, and that there was 3+ clubs he was considering.

I don't buy it. But i would suggest our 1.5m offer looks overs based on this years output and we would be reconsidering our position.

By the time Adelaide get him for peanuts that's probabley what he'll be worth .

Honestly 1.5 is overs and you will dodge a bullet not paying that. Unfortunately if he comes out and says he wants to go to the saints, you'll haveto pay it to avoid crucifixion from the members.

Let me guess. Collingwood are one of the teams? I highly doubt Fyfe is going to inform anybody that isn't immediate family about a decision like that. No offence but I doubt your story. I just don't believe a player would trust anybody with that knowledge because clearly if it is true, his mates dogged him pretty badly by telling you.

If we failed to land any big names after declaring we have a large war chest, there would be questions asked certainly. But if we were to land kelly or martin, or a combo of say whitfield and lever or jones (sydney variety), i think all would be forgiven

Yeah fair enough. I know the Crows are keeping an eye on the Fyfe situation and with the bombers offering Dusty 1.6 anything is possible.

Nope, was a brief conversation, you can assume everyone is interested and probably guess the teams (North, Carlton etc..). I think he is probably 50/50 on staying in WA and probably needs to make that decision before he properly decides.

Little bit of a word that KK is sick of losing and wants to be closer to home.. and his twin....

Dont have the currency IMO but getting KK and GAJ would be great.. however highly unlikely as we just dont have the parts to give to get it done.

Apparently just waiting till the new salaries come through to resign him. Tippett is likely to be moved on anyway and anything like a late round 2-3 would be more than reasonable
