You'd still want him out there. He can play a shocker but still draws away a key defender from the opposition and you never know, he might actually play well on the big day!

Regardless of whether people perceive he melts under pressure or not, he's till a best 22 for every team in the AFL

4 talls, and I think Stevie J plays for other reasons as well that Darling wouldn't fit. I dont think he's a spud, just dont drop Jezza, The General or Rory.

Darling or for that matter Cameron can easily play small. Any side would make room for Darling despite his shortcomings sometimes.

In his current form definitely agree, but at his best he would be b22 in any team. Still holding out hope he can return to form.

I'm not down on him at all. From what I've seen he's a good tall forward. I just dont see the fit in our 22 that's all. If we lost one then I'd I'm sure we'd welcome him aboard. Clearly we'd find a spot for Kennedy but would have to trade out, and that would be awkward. I dont think a club can carry 4 high value tall forwards and the three we have would all be on good money.

Obviously aren't serious about them being balls deep into him. The terminology is not literal.

However, the person I spoke to said that they are chasing him to play for them. I assume Tigers sources could confirm/deny.

For what it's worth, Brisbane probably has to many young talls on our list going in to 2018, especially if we match bids for academy prospects Connor Ballenden (KPF/Ruck) and Jack Payne (KPD).

Good chance two, three or all of these may be delisted.

Matthew Hammelmann (3rd year Rookie List) (would {likely} have been upgraded if Schache had left)
Matt Eagles (Rookie - winner of the recruit) (actually has surprised in the reserves, playing both KPD and KPF)

Also Stef Martin might be available for the right price.

martin being 31 will scare most off. smith on the other hand would be great fit at Carlton as kruz plays out his last year..

The way he's played this season I'd be offering a first round pick between 10-20. Very classy small forward.

Interesting as others think it's clear unders for both Darling and Elliot. As a Richmond supporter and given my bias for richmond players it's probably the latter case.

Elliot is easily, EASILY worth pick 16.

Value wise he's worth the pick. Far too injury prone to warrant it right now though. Wouldn't move anyway so it's not worth discussing.
