Who would be ahead of Paul Puopolo at GWS as a pressure forward?

I honestly want to know.

whole list. de boer. tarranto. lids on one calf. there first pick from last year.

only player gws might look at is thomas from north. unlike puopolo showed he still has good footy in him.

GWS should look at Castagna instead of Thomas. Twice the player Thomas ever was plus George has proven he can be vital in a flag winning team.

Geez you Carlton supporters overrate GWS players, must be why you have a team made almost entirely of their castaways. Neither Deledio or De Boer play the same position, next.

did you miss the finals this year mate? still salty the hawks missed out?

they played puopolos role of high half forward an did it well till lids did his calf.

castagna would be cheap. both he an thomas would come in super cheap.

Deledio isn't a pressure forward. Zac Dawson puts on more pressure than him... that may be a tad harsh but he's no pressure forward. Taranto is a Talented player and puts some pressure on but he doesn't provide that manic pressure like Poppy does.

De Boer is similar to Taranto but without the talent

Not salty at all, we still finished higher on the ladder than you guys.

Only difference is Hawks had a single #1 draft pick who was 33, you guys have four of them at the peak of their careers.

Puopolo isn't a high half forward, he's a small forward who occasionally rotates into the midfield.

Castagna was able to play average in a system where the pressure load was shared, he'll get found out in a big way if he goes anywhere else. Anyway; the Puopolo to GWS connection has at least been floated in multiple avenues, Castagna to GWS is a fantasy creation by BigFooty.

Send him to the draft and we'll just use pick 10. Cheers
What?

Cameron and Gibbs are both contracted.

WTF are you talking about?

If it's Lever - which my post WASN'T about, you nuffy - I was fine with that deal. And Collingwood would take him at 6, idiot.

You've let a highly rated Victorian kid go through a 2 yr contract and haven't had the ability to resign him. You are way off in terms of geography and money and think you have the whip hand? I love the optimisim, but nah
Who are you talking about?

Lever, who played for the Crows and is coming off a year extension?

You're not adding much to this thread.

Lions hold pick 12 thanks to Port's ineptitude in the post season.

Brisbane is not giving up pick 12. Pretty set on taking our first two picks to the draft.

If, as is likely, Rockliff leaves and nets us pick 18 in compo (end of first round compo), then pick 19 (our second round pick) will be on the table for Cameron. Straight trade.

We don't want Whitecross.

Hodge will be drafted with our very last "live" draft pick in the national draft, or in the PSD. You're not getting anything of value for Hodge unfortunately.

Pick 12 is not on the table.

Say it as many times as you like.

If it's only a second round pick, we keep Cameron. Contracted, was in fantastic form in the finals.

You have a number one draft pick? Cute.

Yeah, Deledio was huge in the Semi Final. 4 touches to half time. 0 tackles for the game. Then massive against Richmond.

The fact that you are saying Lindsay Thomas is worth going after shows how clueless you are about football.

Poppy kicked 5 goals in his last 2 games after coming back from injury. Averages 6 tackles a game. Thomas spent most of his time injured or suspended or playing in the 2s.

Maybe if your club had not of been such tight asses last year you would have one and possibly a cup to go with it.
Nah. If Gibbs was in the side we would have had to drop one of the players that were dominant in the rest of the finals series. We probably wouldn't have even made the grand final.

Melbourne In: Lever Out: 10 + 27
Essendon IN: 10 Out Francis
Adelaide In: Francis + 27 Out: Lever

Then
Essendon In: Saad + 19 Out :11
Gold Coast In: 11 Out Saad + 19

Then
Essendon In Stringer Out:19
Dogs In 19: Out Stringer

Get Stringer and Saad and a top 10 pick.
lose Francis and pick 11.

You couldn't get further away if you tried. Gold coast give up Saad for an 8 pick upgrade. Lol. And pick 10 for Francis. Get off the drugs man !!
