There is no way on earth that Gibbs will get 2 first rounders. He will get a solid first that's it. Top quality mids are worth and always will be worth more than a defensive forward. If Hawthorn want early picks, they have to give up quality (which you won't).

Thanks for correcting me again, I'm glad you're here to keep me grounded friend! Here I was thinking that GWS might have wanted an upgrade on half a goal and 2 tackles a game from a 25 year old Daniel Lloyd. Clearly he is best 22 moving forward.

Puopolo would be comfortably in Carlton’s best 22 in the forward pocket.

Unless you reckon Pickett, Sumner and Gallucci is the answer? That is a horribly bad small forward stocks.

Gibbs is better and younger and that trade never even happened because Adelaide wouldn't pay it. Puopolo is not a spud but I am sure you wouldn't get more than 40 (well you might get 35 depending on which club he went to).

Wright is more a half forward/midfielder. My point still stands, Puopolo would be in Carlton’s best 22. This is a team who has the worst forward-line in the competition.

The fact of the matter is, unlike Lever, Gibbs is contracted and the Crows will have to pay overs if they genuinely want him. Who knows if they do or don't.
