I think its a pretty realistic option to be honest.

But not sure GC want to go down that path.

They really need to get the deal done, it's so rare that a quality player asks to go there that they can't afford not to get him in.

They were reportedly prepared to downgrade 2 to 5, downgrading to 8 isn't that much different.

Saw a version of this on Twitter and thought it looked alright:

Saints lose: pick 7, pick 8
Saints gain: pick 2, pick 21

Suns lose: pick 2, pick 21
Suns gain: Weller, pick 8

Freo lose: Weller
Freo gain: pick 7

Don't think Saints would do that. Think they'd rather stay with 2 picks in the top 10. Quality drops off after pick 10. Then quality drops again at pick 25 but top 10 in a weak draft is very valuable as there is always quality players in the top 10 of every draft.

We're meant to be pretty keen to trade up, so it won't surprise me at all if we do it. There will be talent well worth drafting still available at 21.

Looks reasonable. North have 23 not 22, Hawks have 68 not 67.

DVI points for that put Hartung's value at about pick 44, Poppy's at about 43.

Even though at the time of the trade you say you've won the trade only to see later that you've been screwed.

Would of thought Hartung would be welcome at North as they aren't a very quick side. I like Hartung but just like Hill I think people will realise that he's decent once he starts playing for another club - not saying Hartung is as good as Hill but he won't be considered a spud by all

He'll get a new contract if he isn't traded. Hawks are reported to saying we want to move up the draft without going into 2018 picks so thought I'd try and create a trade that could do this for us.

He won't be delisted. Certainly not worth a high pick though

Crameri is best 22 and offers plenty. Has just been injured all year. Saying he has no value is off the mark. About to turn 29, so certainly not past it. Would he want to go back to Essendon though after he was forced to miss a year of footy ?? Webb certainly has potential, pick 47 might be around the mark, maybe slightly unders considering this year's apparent draft depth, but I think there might be a few interested parties trying to pick him up.

Obviously not us. Some club may want him as a DFA. Still a young player with games under his belt. May appeal to a team
