Kennedy is a 2nd round pick every day of the week.
This talk of getting him for a 3rd rounder is absolute rubbish. The kid is class.
If we don't get a late second to work with though, there's always the possibility we offer up 39 plus a swap of third rounders next year.

39 and 44 (2018) for Kennedy and 54 (2018).

GWS will hold out with us to see what happens with Gibbs - same as last year. We'd obviously prefer to deal in later picks, which means we retain any Gibbs returns.

Great that Motlop has nominated Port, Crows may see Gibbs even more crucial given they have missed on Rockliff and Motlop to a local rival playing finals
Would pretty much be a disaster trade period for Adelaide to lose Cameron & Lever but not bring in any mature talent at all to replace them...while at the same time cross-town rivals Port get in players like Motlop & Rockliff.

And with losing Smith for most of next year. Biggest concern, is the kids while talented, aren't beating the door down for selection.

Given they may have 5 picks under pick 19, over the next 2 years, they need at least 1 or 2 best 22 players, if they want to be serious contenders for a flag short term

Motlop to Port increases pressure on Reid. No point stocking up on picks if you're window closes in a couple of years.
Just had a quick look on the Crows board...a few have already turned to say they 'must' get Gibbs and can't afford not to bring in any mature talent.

Looking good for us :)

Or we don't.

Do we need Gibbs more, or do you need picks more for your rebuild?

I think you all realize that even with player development your list won't get to a flag as it sits currently, so you need to keep improving it by getting in picks and players. If it's not Gibbs who else are you trading out?
Did you need a map and torch to get back to your board? I know directions would be a personal challenge...
