Do you mean 75%. As in you will pay 75% of his salary? 100% of his salary will be paid if he gets picked up by an AFL team.
Nope, I found this under the rules:

Delisting Contracted players
Contracted players may be delisted but:
  • Those who walk away due to lack of motivation or similar will have their contract terminated immediately with no further payment.
  • Those who are first year players and are delisted by their AFL club and not picked up in any AFL draft can be delisted with no further payment.
  • Those who retire due to injury must be paid 50% of their contracted salary per year remaining on the contract.
  • Those who are delisted by or pushed into retirement by their AFL clubs (i.e. not on an AFL list and not meeting any of the above criteria), and were on their current contract during the season, must be paid 75% of their contracted salary per year remaining on the contract.
  • Other players must be paid 100% of their contracted salary per year remaining on the contract.
Clubs must apply to the AFL for either of the first three, otherwise one of the bottom two will be assumed. Where a 50% reduction is granted, this may be paid out over 2 years for contract with more than 2 years to run. All other payouts must be paid in a lump sum at the time of the delistment out of the salary cap for the forthcoming year.

But he was re-drafted last year in the AFL and therefore in this game, no?
The essence of the rule comes down to whether you had the option to sign him to a different length rule during the draft (as you can with non-first year players) or if he was an automatic two year contract. Looking back at last year's draft Dom Barry was an automatic 2 year contract which means you may delist him with 100% discount. (i.e pay 0% of salary in 2019). Please confirm you wish to do this, noting that if an AFL team does pick Barry up in a draft or as a delisted free agent, you will be required to pay 100% of his salary in 2019.

Opposition player bids

Shaun Burgoyne 1 year @ 200k
Mark Hutchings 2 years @ 218k
Just a heads up peterss, you need to check previous bids before you bid. The Burgoyne bid is again invalid as Melbourne posted a bid of $250k (1) just a few posts before yours. I try to keep the opening posts up to date as much as I can (usually once a night) but you need to check the previous posts where possible. It was also your 3rd and final bid on Burgoyne I believe.
