What was he in 2007, 2010 & 2014-2017???
Rodgers been the best the last two years? InterestingRodgers has been the best since 2014
Manning was the best 2003ish-2013
It's not like one season changes who's the best QB. Everyone drifts in and out of formRodgers been the best the last two years? Interesting

If he were still on a good team he would still be performing the same way
From like 2006-2015/16 yes (yes i know he won an MVP in 2017)So you would still have Brady #2 then?

I did, that's why I cut it off before 2017...But everyone drifts in and out of form...
Surely if you use the same excuse for Rodgers you've got to give it to Brady too.

In what way?Dunno mate, Rodgers hasn't been the Rodgers you know for a couple of years now. Much like you're describing Brady.
And yet we still kick your ass when it mattersLook it could be worse. Even if Brady was never the best, the Patriots have been the best team in the league for LicoriceAllsorts whole life. That's something.
In what way?
Rodgers can still do the things he can do at his very best. Got to remember he's been injured for 2 years and in an offense that requires more of him than Brady's does of him.
It's not about numbers and awards but looking at it in a vacuum.
There's several QBs that could have exectued the game plan to Brady's level against the Chargers. But Brady wouldn't necessarily do as well as they would in theirs.
Belichick/McDaniels/etc. (Brady's gameplanning mind included) are masters and will prolong Brady's career probably 5 years more than it would go elsewhere
And yet we still kick your ass when it matters
I do. He's still top 5 or 6. I might have him equal or ahead of Brees because Brees is probably in an easier situation (and one reason why Brees' season isn't comparably to Mahomes')Im not saying Tom should be #1 or even #2 for that matter, im saying if you're affording Rodgers excuses then perhaps Brady deserves them also. His receiving corp and "weapons" have been utter garbage this year.
I go for the Broncos mate, not the Raiders haha. I'm plenty happyYeah but every game matters. Bit of a false dichotomy you've created there. I mean beating the Patriots in a set of high profile games might give you a good level of satisfaction but it certainly doesn't compare to nearly 20 years of sustained dominance, especially when the Broncos have won as many games in the last two seasons as the Patriots did this year with probably their weakest team in years.
At the end of the day, Patriots fans have gained a lifetime worth of joy and then some from this run and you continually hammering on the same beats in every single thread, year after year just makes you seem sad and petty.
Maybe 2006-2014. By 2015 Wilson was possibly ahead of Brady.
Brady is better than Manning imo.
