How is it always Richmond folks who trot out H&A combined figures.
How is it always Carlton mods who have a Richmond complex? What's wrong with H&A numbers? Did you know Richmond supporters attend away games? Anyway if you don't like combined numbers have yourself some home attendances. Wanna have a guess who's on top? ;)

I have a Richmond complex in Industry threads that is damn well deserved in recent years. I dont have to guess whos on top, I can see the data on AFLtables as well as the next person who screenshots it.

Just come over to the dark side and join us Wookie. Having a complex is not good for your sanity mate - once you go yellow and black you can't go back :p

Halfway through the season already and Tigers have hit 652K so right on track for 1.3M. A great achievement so far with poor weather, a mothers day fixture and some patchy form. Interestingly most of our MCG crowds have been under MCG predictions.

Attendances for the halfway point of the season

I don’t want to rain on your parade, but it’s hard to be “on track” for 1.3 million when your first half of the year contains the season opener, ANZAC Eve, Dreamtime etc and the second half has games at Showgrounds and Metricon among others. The 1.1 million as forecast by Rouel_14 seems much more realistic.

It sure seems like you want to rain on my parade manic but we'll see what happens. Mathematically we are "on track" you can't deny it :D

Can you show your crowd predictions to get 650k from the last 11? Even with fantasy targets of full houses at Etihad, full house at ao, 80k for MCG games except crows and the dogs, I can't get to 650k thanks to away games at spotless and metricon

I just multiplied 650K by 2 - that's the easiest way to get 1.3M

Let me have a look at the fixture and get back to you.....

OK this is a tad optimistic but lets see
Port 49000
Geel 86000
Syd 46000
Adl 58000
GWS 18000
Stk 41000
Coll 94000
Geel 84000
GCS 18000
Ess 89000
WB 65000
=648,000 + 653000 = 1.3M

This is based the Bombers making a late season surge and an epic match of the century v Collingwood

A tad optimistic is a massive understatement. No way that Collingwood and Richmond will get 94k. 85k tops. And both Geelong games you'll get 80K+??

That's the issue, some of those need everything to go right, others I can't see happening.

Dons no chance unless they are a contender. Other wise 60-70.

Pies IF they are humming, otherwise 75

Cats....possible but will struggle because it will be all about AFL and MCC attendees

Dogs, no chance. This game will have zero care factor for both fans

I reckon you are 50 - 80,000 out.
I cant see any of the Essendon,Collingwood,WB or the two Geelong matches getting anywhere near what you expect

Realistically:

Port 45,000
Geelong 72,000
Sydney 41,000
Adelaide 50,000
GWS 13,000
St Kilda 40,000
Collingwood 77,000
Geelong 72,000
Gold Coast 16,000
Essendon 60,000
WB 52,000
= 538,000 + 652,500 = 1,190,500

What if we're playing for top 2 and home QF and Dogs playing for 8th??

Not one of those games will reach that prediction.
Hmm actually the Port game this week could blow it all away with the weather

We’ll have to aim for 1.25 I think. The crap weather before the lions game cost us 10-15k. The cranbourne line works will cost us the record this year . It’s a pretty good result considering gws and gc weren’t in the league in 2010. Too many Sunday games so far too. Not sure why the premiers weren’t given more Saturday games

Yeah lucky for colllingwood they didn’t have to go to skoda and metricon 7 years ago. We should get 1.2 plus still
