Woodcock I like that late in the draft, kid has potential. Grundy I'm not sure about. Not sure you can get by in the AFL with zero offensive game any more. Would've preferred that James Blanck bloke.

I would add one of munn, blanck or Reid in the rookie draft.

I don’t know why Grundy can’t develop the other side if we give him time.

How many picks will we take into the rookie draft (outside of Hewett)? If we take Pudney & Fredricks and put them both on category B does that give us 2 selections? If so i would love Sydney Stack & Hayden Schloithe

The one positive is that he seems like he reads the play well enough that he could develop a decent offensive game. But that's obviously so speculative which is why he slid to the 70s

A surprise that we used those picks but nice to get a couple of locals that fill a need. Grundy is raw but a great athlete and Woodcock small but a smart footballer. Nice to have them locked away before the rookie draft.

I believe that leaves us with rookie pick 10 and Cam Hewett to go.

Is Boyd Woodcock any relation to Roger Woodcock from Norwood. Roger was a very handy half forward flanker if I remember correctly.

So happy to see a bunch of players that actually interest me. As much as Garner, Patmore and Farrell were fresh last year - none of them captured my interest at the time.

These draftees all do.

Daniel Talia has zero offensive side. He's developed it.

All we needed was a key back who could compete and hopefully develop in a couple years. We got one that fits the bill perfectly. Hopefully he can learn to be more offensive, but for the moment like a Talia type he can hopefully do a defensive role as he develops the rest of his game.

Would have much prefered Blanck but at least we have some form of developing KPD now. He'll need plenty of developing but we can also afford to give him time too.
