Hope this is accurate...

Butters plays taller than his height suggests, with an ability to work between the arcs and play in the forward line.

He has a great ability to spread from the play and find the ball in space and then use it beautifully, significantly improving his disposal.

Butters appears to have that innate x-factor about him with his speed, ball use and the ability to play different roles for the team.

Less expectation, especially at picks 55 and 71. But I was a bit surprised at some reactions. A lot of people were over the moon when we had Rozee and Butters but then proclaimed the draft to be a disaster when Duursma was picked. I hope he's not going to become another player with a target on his back.

I like all three picks. Like every year though it means **** all until they start playing at AFL level. Then we can judge.

Carlton will regret that trade. They are a bottom 4 lock next season in my opinion.

Hopefully his brothers are good footballers too and we can recruit them in future years. It’s going to be tough for him being away from a large young family.

Happy with Rozee and Butters, pissed at missing Sturt.

Duursma is one I have not looked at, I just watched his highlight package and my reaction was to cringe. Looks like a player who is good when the ball is in his area but has no idea what to do when the ball is not in his area. Having said that the tools are there for him to be good.

Looks like we went in with a strategy to improve our pace and skill and appear to have done that. Added 3 players with speed and x factor and all came across as really good characters to have around a club too.

Rozee and Duursma have some very good intercept skills. Rozee does Wingard level work in that space. They all look to have that instinctive change of direction at pace that quick players use to leave players in their dust.

Butters is a slick and clever ball user.

As neddy36 posted Rozee is a super talent and terrific athlete.

Looking forward to seeing them on board as soon as possible.

I like Duursma and think he will play earlier than most expect but not sure about using 3 first round picks with taking a tall or pure midfielder.

At the moment the trade score between Carlton and Adelaide is :

CARLTON : McGovern, 19, cows 2019 first(12-15?) v ADELAIDE : 13, Carlton 2019 first (3-8?). If Carlton get close to finals next year or Adelaide finish at the lower end of the eight Carlton could break even. But if the cards fall as they have been doing over the last few years Adelaide will have made out like bandits.
