There were a couple of Woodcocks who played for the deadlegs in Roger's era.
He had at least one older brother who played at the parade (Brian?), and there was an Ashley Woodcock who was an opening batsman and later captained S.A. before they became the redbacks, so it's possible there is a family connection somewhere.

Thanks I remember Ashley Woodcock well did not know he was related to Roger who was a goal kicking half forward much the same Boyd.
Could be a handy pick up.
