I think the Eagles just have a very balanced team with good players across the park and elite players in every line. Strong key forwards who can take contested marks and kick goals, small forwards who can apply pressure and kick goals, a dynamic midfield and a very solid backline. All of them use the ball well and can take contested marks. It’s a very good and reliable team.

Yes, no-one's saying they're the best side in the league. But what they are is at the other end of the ladder to us, that's pretty clear. Considering we've both been through similar length "rebuilds", the comparison is interesting.

No coincidence the rise of Collingwood , Richmond , Bulldogs was because of the
implantation of this , correlation of improvement is irrefutable.
Until it is undertaken Stkilda will struggle.

Redden hardens that team up immensely.

What’s the Finals MVP known as?

He’d be up there in consideration at the moment.

Been awesome for them so far these finals.

Might be true, correlation is not causation though. Too few data points to prove anything one way or the other.

Totally would have agreed with you 2 years ago but the seconds is our side now just with a different name just like box hill and the hawks. Unfortunately that isn’t an excuse anymore

I reckon this was the loss Melbourne had to have. I think it will steel them next year, will be top 4 team I reckon. I think the AFL will give them another favourable draw which will further assist.

I'm still bitter about the deal we got for him. He would be more than handy for us.

Guess have to remember we have benefited from Roberton, so you win some and lose some with the pull of home. Roberton at least had more of a pull to bring him back to Vic.
Would at least solve the Lonie trade debate if we still had Cripps.

Eagles are flogs
Collingwood are flogs

Think I would rather watch the Storm next weekend..
