Shouldn’t you flogs be busy celebrating the worst season in your club’s history ? Ever. In 122 years. 2 wins in a season where the comp was as even as it’s ever been. What a laughing stock the Carlton football club have become. And you’ve got the hide to bag the pies after the season they’ve just had? Genuinely hilarious , thank you for adding some real humour to what was an otherwise bleak Sunday. Best part is, you’ve still got the muppet show being run by Bolton and Silvagni that has you all fooled into thinking they will deliver you from the woods. Bolton’s good for a smiley face emoji , not so good as an afl coach. But don’t worry you’ll finally realise that by late 2020 when you’re still bottom 4 and he’s shown the door

Which one is you?

Well done West Coast Eagles,
2018's yours,
Dom Sheed's match sealer had pies fans shut their toothless jaws.

Black and white's a no-no,
But yes, we don't mind red,
Especially when it's the colour of Eddie's frowning head.

You wanted us to back you,
But we will always say,
Forget it, we would rather sit and watch paint dry all day.

Aish was all day missing,
Sidebottom was cold,
Cox had been em'Barrass'ed, and De Goey's goals got old.

They led for most the game,
Then choked to lose the cup,
Oh how we all love GF day when magpies stink it up.

44 Grand Finals,
Still one flag short from us,
Perhaps a way to move on involves blindfolds on a bus.

Sure they will feel pain,
It would be hard to bear,
But when you wear that jail bars jumper, we don't ******* care!

Yes, Carlton aren't great now,
But What's forever true
The Black and White will never ever beat the navy blue.

Reading some of the posts on the Pies' autopsy thread and one really stuck out for it's calm sense and reflection. So I contacted the poster.

"As a Carlton supporter, I'd like to think I could be as reflective and generous of spirit as your post last night indicates you are - credit to you."

He responded:

"Thanks for the note mate - tough weekend but I don't think anything is gained by being bitter. . I am also in a pretty dire situation at the moment in terms of health/wealth and that can put things into perspective. The general demeanor of Richmond supporters over the past year (esp on BF) has also provided extra motivation to stay above all that. They have been (with the odd exception) just so overbearing and arrogant. As I said.........appreciate the note and hope that Carlton are pressing for finals next year for you."

Perspective.

beware the 2am post.......

The intent from him was coming from the right place. Artistically gets a 3 out of 10 from me.

This part moved it up from a 1 out of 10 to 3 out of 10...

What are we singing it to?

Just on the blindfolded bus shenanigans--look at how Adam Simpson and the WCE people have created a 'one club' mentality, to the point of the players cleaning up the changeroom after winning the grand final. No naked-tied-to-tree-holding-a-phallic-talking-stick-and-stepping-on-Indigenous-culture necessary.
who'd have thunk?
