Hoping for a free flowing game today. Taken Petracca for 2+ goals @4.86. Named fwd. Don't think the crows have a great matchup for him. Topbetta or Madbookie.

Hawks forward line has also been hampered as we just bomb it in. Had a massive advantage in inside 50's against Syd but still lost.

If Mitchell is slowed down and Isaac Smith kept in check then our midfield can also struggle.

However, it there is any game that the Eagles will be flat and Hawks up and about this should be it. WC won 8 in a row and smashed Rich by 7 goals. Hawks coming off 2 losses and the last one humiliating. We might have to see a Clarkson masterclass here.

I'm on WC +4.5 from last week and going for a middle with Hawks +6.5. And a small dabble on the unders hoping Clarkson goes defensive.

Tips for the other 2 games today please Mookie. I'm at a loss as they both seem like coin flips.

Whether or not Mcdonald comes up might help me decide re Dees.

Should be a great line up of games today. Hawks / Eagles game is a cracker so far and the Dees vs Crows game will be a bit of a grudge match with Lever playing although it would have been better if it was Tex vs Lever.

I liked Melb earlier in the week but Ade gets back Brown, Milera and Crouch and 3 average players go out. Melb have been flying, but haven't won against the better opposition. McDonald has been on fire so if he misses that will hurt. I think Melb being full strength and a better midfield than Ade should win and certainly should win with Ade missing Tex, McGovern, Sloane and B. Crouch.

I like Freo providing there is some wind and rain about. Brown, Waite, Thompson and Tarrant are all great marks and a smaller Freo forward line might be better suited to a rainy, windy game. Regardless Freo have been outstanding at home so I wouldn't be backing against them. A bit more midfield depth in poor conditions should make a difference.

Melb look good on paper. Just seems like everytime they are expected to announce themselves against a good opponent they let everyone down. Gut saying crows for that reason.

Crows potentially a bit more hardened after the last couple of weeks, showdown then a wet slog.

16 scoring shots! Where's the rain?

Lots of examples of games having lots of scoring shots in the 1st quarter and then the game tightening up. Got a good middle going though with a bias to unders so hopefully the game tightens up. Also on Brown U79.5 fantasy as I thought the conditions wouldn't suit. North have had a mountain of inside 50's but fortunately Hamling's been very good.

Unsure that the markets are always that good at Madbookie. Thought that there would be plenty of goals today. Topbetta had a lot less options but the odds were very similar.
