Melbourne -16.5 ($1.90 365, Neds, Pointsbet)
I agree with this.

I consider Syd very lucky to win vs Coll - they kicked 11 goals but 7 of those came after half-time with Moore injured leaving a rookie Magden on Buddy. 3 of those 11 goals were lucky - a 50m penalty, a goal for rushing through a behind and McCartin's miracle goal. Essentially the win boiled down to Coll having no key defenders and Buddy going ballistic.

Melb on the other hand are travelling beautifully having should have beaten Geel at Skilled, Ade in Ade and pounding GC. Games at the MCG so that's another plus for Melb.

I'm guessing they win quite comfortably.

Why should they have beaten Geelong - they failed to beat them both times this year after having every possible chance to win. You can't say they should have beaten Geelong and then tick off Adelaide where they lose if the game goes 5 minutes more

They probably win as i agree Sydney are going ordinary but I'll fk a duck if there is a team getting more smoke blown up their arse than Melbourne - total flat track bullies who have built a farcical rep from belting terrible sides.

Up by 5 goals with 15 mins to go. Massive choke + a goal after the siren. Even the dopers would of won that;)

As I've said before, I'm looking at next season for Melbourne to be a serious contender. They'll be making up the numbers this September.

Any reason Rich cant do the same thing Melbourne did to GC? Unless GC have got any decent ins this week - i dont like the writing on the wall here for GC.
Also i initially picked GWS to win this week, but crows could get another 2 back in this week- McGovern and Douglas making the game very interesting.

I will fight you M8.

I would tread lightly with the tigers this week. Yes they should win by near 100, but they're a game clear with the best percentage in the league. For me, they get ahead by 60-70 then take the foot off the gas in the last.

If we do get ahead by 10 or so goals Cotchin Martin etc will spend a significant time on the bench, just like the Saints game.

Eagles. Travelling way better this season. Building MCG 2.0 has helped, can already see an improvement in the first season.

I was impressed by the win against the pies. Im still not really a big fan of the pues and at the time they were loseing plenty of soldiers.

They beat carlton by 10 points there didnt they? earlier in the season.

I still think they have something to prove at the MCG and as mentioned no Gaff or NicNat is massive. Play a negating fwd on Hurn and a tag on Shuey and i think theyre in trouble at the MCG.

What exactly do they have to prove at the MCG? They’ve won both games there this year. It’s a bit unrealistic to put any real weight on a record at a ground they only play at twice a year. In the last 3 years(inclusive of this year) the Eagles record at the MCG is 3 wins 4 losses. I would imagine most non WA teams would have a similar, if not worse record playing the Eagles in Perth yet do we ever hear about how a Victorian club can’t win in Perth?
What about the Swans, a week ago they couldn’t win at the SCG and yet they started favourites against Collingwood, a team well above them on the ladder at the time. Saw a lot of recreational punters jumping on Collingwood off the back of this apparently ingrained mental inability of the Swans to win at home.
