Really like Hawks early. Have won their last 4 at the SCG. Were the far better team earlier in the year bar a one-off Ronke 7 goals, got their dose of crap out of the system against the Saints. Match up on the Swans well, Stratton takes Buddy.

definately!! hawks were due for a flat game vs saints after a couple huge games vs Ess/Geelong, Sydneys wins are overrated the dees couldn't of played or kicked for goal any worse two weeks ago and GWS were in total control until Davis got injured.

Agree re Hawks, should be much closer to even money.

Best round of the year!

Geel 100+, WC 40+, NM / StK TGS O250, NM TT over, Ade TT over, Bris vs WC TGS O220, Rich TT over, Rich vs WB TGS O200.

Multi these up and go live in Monte Carlo for a couple of years on a yacht.

Surprised to see West Coast line is only 2 goals, they are going to "throw the kitchen sink" at Brisbane (their words) to sew up top 2.

There are a few interesting scenario's for R23. Personally I think that there is a good chance that a team desperate for a win (WC) could well thrash a team with nothing to play for (Bris), especially coming off a tight, intense game like the Q clash. That win solidifies that 2018 was a success for Bris. Hopefully they bring the same intensity they did this round last year at home vs NM where they gave up a huge score and NM were far hungrier for a win.

Now I might be right or I might be wrong, but if i'm right then the odds on a big win or big total if I play around some different margins will be very profitable.

Last year in the last round Brisbane came into the game expected to do well (Rayner cup v Kangas) and got flogged reckon they were absolutely buggered, West Coast 40 + could be a go this week. West Coast have everything to play for and Brisbane have nothing to play for apart from pride, though we can go down a spot if we lose and St Kilda win

saints 26.5 sportsbet seems generous... would say the talent is about equal on each list and they showed something vs Hawks... extra days rest too and North nothng to play for except a ben brown bag, tab still offering 1.55 eagles multi'd that with pies at $1.83

Something to play for effect

I'd love to know how...Even if Melbourne lose (Ill be tipping GWS), they have 20% to make up. Geelong aren't losing to the Suns lol.

Essendon should be winning this game, their form has been a mile better than Port's lately.

Liking these plays early on; will have a bit more of an in depth look before pulling the trigger.

Essendon SU @ 2.35 (Sb)
Port u91.5 @ 1.85 (365)

Hawks SU @ 2.55 (Sb)

Bris/WCE o163.5 @ 1.9 (Sb)
Bris/WCE BTTS 71+ @1.85(365)

GWS SU @2.78 (Sb)
Melbourne u97.5 @ 1.85 (365)

Also Riewoldt Coleman into Richmond win. @ $1.86 (TAB/UBET)

Richmond should take care of the Bulldogs and in the process spend the day looking to put it down the throat of their skipper in an attempt to win him a Coleman medal.

The clown kicked 6 against the Sainners last time and I'm pretty sure they got nothing else to play for this week.

Time to put on my pseudo science hat on and see if I can jag a few results.

Realistically Port can't make finals, but they have been embarrassed 2 weeks in a row and for pride they have plenty of incentive to play well this weekend. Ess gave it a massive crack vs Rich and fell short so they could well be flat this week. Prediction -Port to cover.

Geel need to win and GC very unlikely to be able to maintain the intensity they showed in the Q clash. Prediction - Geel to cover, TT over and margins around 100+.

Rich vs WB - bit of a dead rubber for Rich and WB have won a few on the trot so no pressure on either side. Prediction - pressure free shootout - TGS over.

Freo vs Coll - Coll need to win and Freo will have plenty to play for having been humiliated last week. Prediction - Freo cover.

Carl vs Ade - Ade finished the second half of the season strongly and Carl got a "respectable" loss last week so we should be up for a pressure free game. Prediction - Ade TT over, TGS over.

Syd vs Hawks - Plenty to play for. Should be a high pressure game. Expect Hawks to be right in this. Prediction - Hawks to cover.

Bris vs WC - Bris finished their season on a high in the Q Clash and I expect them to be flat this week. WC need to win for top 2. Prediction - WC to cover, WC 40+, TGS over (bets dependent on rain and if Darling, Kennedy play).

Melb vs GWS - assuming Coll win then this is a dead rubber. Should be a pressure free shoot out. Prediction - TGS over.

NM vs StK - both teams with respectable losses last week. Playing at ES I expect both teams will look for a shootout in the last game of the round. Prediction - TGS well over (might hit 220+).

I agree with all this, wouldn't have listed it that well so thanks for the tips

Winner gets a home elimination final (unless Collingwood lose as you mentioned then Melbourne can finish 4th) so there's still plenty to play for.
