Even without those two guys, can't see the Bulldogs as a 30 point favourite in this game. They couldn't even put Carlton away at the Etihad.

I got them last week +45.5 and $7. Couldn't believe it with the likelyhood that Franklin and Hannebery would miss. JPK was BOG against Geel but will get the Jacobs blanket. Small forward line wasn't working up till the 4th quarter. Their poor form last year coincided with a long injury list - like we have now with key personnel.

Like you said potential letdown spot for the Swans and bounce back game for the Roos.

On the flipside Swans tend to crush teams like NM with questionable midfield depth so NM will need to compete hard to be in touch. I'll be spewing if Higgins misses though - he's been a flat out gun.

Ben Brown holds the key. Can't see any Sydney defenders who will be able to stop him, so that pretty much means double teams the whole night so the other North forwards will have to play well. The big question mark is can North get the ball down quick enough to Brown. That's extremely hard against the Swans but shoud be pretty close if North can win some clearances which they've been doing well through Goldstein's return to form. Higgins should be right to play hopefully.

I noticed that TAB have a bet this week for more behinds kicked than goals. Its paying $2. Seems a good bet to me. The last 2 rounds have had more behinds. Haven't looked beyond that but worth some thought
